Perfect in every way! Stumbled upon this beautiful little tea room with my daughter. It is delightfully decorated and the young lady that served us - I think her name is Elouise, had impeccable manners and the afternoon tea offering was perfect to our individual tastes. I had the Gentleman's afternoon tea because I have a more savoury palate and my daughter has the classic afternoon tea. There were a table of ladies next to us, all dressed up in vintage clothes and having a wonderful time, as we were. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and this just was the icing on the cake (pardon the pun!) as we don't get to see each other that often as I live on the south coast. Highly recommend! More...

A lovely place. Great tea menu and lovely food. My mum is very fussy (think Hyacinth Bucket for those of a certain age) she loved it. Great china peaceful background music so you can talk. We picked up the little book of offers in the Royal Priors and found a voucher for cream tea for 2 for £10 so decided to have a little treat. We hadn’t been before or seen it on our visits to town despite living very close. The customer service was great the lady and the man were very attentive to all the customers in the shop. The food was lovely and fresh and nicely presented. The scones were amazing too. It was well priced for the amount of food you received with a variety of different options. Went for lunch with a friend. Chose a table that wasn't reserved and decided what we fancied. I had the club sandwich and tea while my friend had a ham salad sandwich with a soya milk coffee. Service was a bit lengthy as waiter had to double check several times what our order was. Food was delicious and well presented. Ordered a second pot of tea and a delicious slice of lemon drizzle cake, yum. Lovely lunch apart from the wasp that was attracted by the sugery food on all the tables. Didn't bother me but some children at another table were anxious. Waiter didn't seem to notice or ignored the situation. Maybe next time staff could assist and then close the entrance door to prevent a recurrence. Overall lovely experience and I will return. More...

Thanks for a lovely afternoon tea for 11of us on a hen do yesterday. Fantastic tea, the mini patisseries were amazing (opera cake is my favourite) and some of the best scones I've ever had. Vegan options were also no problem and looked fantastic. Very well priced for the quality. Im also not really a fan of all the usual afternoon tea sandwich fillings but there seemed to be something suitable for everyone. The chicken and pesto was so good.
