I can't recommend Vicki highly enough. We had a family photo shoot with her last month and, despite the windy and snowy conditions, she managed to take some lovely pictures of us She made us feel at ease; even our teenage daughter, who isn't keen on her picture being taken, didn't mind. We had a lovely time and are very pleased with the natural looking photos. Perfect! More...

Today I went to one of Vicki’s photography courses which was held in the lovely village of Ideford. I’ve been doing photography for just over a year but still not confident with everything. I learnt some really useful new things today that I cannot wait to test out next time I go out with my camera. Vicki was very helpful and patient with all of our questions and made sure she spent time which each of us on a one to one basis whilst we were out talking photos. I highly recommend! More...

Vicki was Shaldon Water Carnival's official photographer at our Spring Fete on Bank Holiday Monday, 28th May 2018. She was excellent, taking the time to find out exactly what we would like her to do and then mixing with the crowds to take relaxed, informal shots of everyone having fun as well as beautiful, more formal photos of the Carnival's young Queen and attendants. At our request, the photographs were shared very promptly with us on social media following the event. Vicki was lovely to meet and put everyone at ease quickly and professionally. Highly recommended. More...

Vicki has taken photographs at two of our village events in Shaldon this year - the Spring Fete and the Water Carnival. On both occasions she was great to work with - enthusiastic and engaging. We gave her an open brief to simply capture the events, and she did this superbly with a nice mix of closeup shots of people enjoying themselves and broader shots to capture the event in full. She also worked cheerfully on two of the hottest days we have had this year! We would definitely make use of her services again. More...

I have been wanting some photos of us as a family for years but with 2 small boys who never seem to stand still at the same time, let alone look at a camera at the same time - it just never happened! I got a voucher for Christmas for a photo shoot session with Vicki and she did an amazing job! She was so calm, patient and friendly. Not only did she manage to win around my boys but she also managed to me at ease too - yes, I desperately wanted some family photos but actually hate having my photo taken! I am over the moon with the results. The only problem now is deciding which ones to have up on the wall!! Thank you so much Vicki. xx More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Years of using your camera until it's an extension of you. Seeing the moment and being in a position to quickly capture it to freeze that moment for ever but to capture it with the best composition and light available to you.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What exactly do you want your images to convey? What are the images going to be used for? Have you seen examples of my work? Have you some examples of styles of images you like?
What do you love most about your job?
Being creative. Having an idea of a project and working it through. Being independent and in charge of my time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I can't imagine not using a camera on a daily basis. It's my life.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I'm friendly, honest, reliable and I'll do my utmost to give you the results you had in mind.
