Would highly recommend Up Your Grade Tutors - my son was helped by Andy for Science and had a couple of sessions with Roy for maths both at GCSE level. Both were very professional and encouraging and this helped give my son more confidence . Andy was very patient and would ask which areas my son felt he needed the most help in, he would explain things thoroughly and always made sure he understood. Our eldest son Mike (Harrogate Grammar School) felt he needed some extra help with Biology A-level and so we contacted Andy at the start of lower sixth form. He provided that special level of tutoring service where Mike could ask questions about things he was not quite certain of, he could practice and review the course as it progressed, and also, most importantly, how to tackle the final exam(s) to get the best results possible. Not only a crucial knowledge gap filler - but a huge confidence booster also. This is an extremely professional service and delivered in a friendly, informal but highly informative way (arguably the best way to learn!). The end result and proof was grade A in the 2016 A-level exam (just a few marks off an A*).
