Adnan has provided great advice and service above and beyond what was essential in order to set up and transfer all data from our existing equipment to our new computer and laptop and, more recently, the complete rejuvenation of my daughter's 5-6 year old MacBook Pro which had slowed down so much we thought we needed to replace it. All options were discussed and resulted in a superbly updated laptop at a small fraction of the cost of a replacement. I had a very perplexing problem where my PC was crashing on hot days and when the weather was hot. We returned from holiday to a non-operational computer. First time I have visited this place and the help I was given was excellent, I was looking for alcohol in order to clean my cpu in my home pc, This was largely due to not being able to locate the product I wanted in any DIY stores. Adnan went above and beyond to assist and allowed me to borrow his CPU cleaning kit to complete my task. This saved me a three day wait for a similar product to arrive from Amazon. Adnan provides a very good service, he checked my laptop for viruses after I had opened a scam email with links which search for contacts. He made it operate much faster. He also followed up by putting in printer drivers remotely and putting in a shortcut icon for scanning. This was not part of my original request and I had already paid for his services. More...

I brought my Dell Inspiron in with a broken charging port after finding Uni Computers through Google. I had a SMS a few hours later to tell me it was ready for collection. Being so local to me, I use the Winnersh branch and I must say, that 'Adnan' who runs it, is absolutely brilliant!... My computer had a small electrical fire inside the tower last night, and I was recommended Uni Computers by multiple friends. Liviu identified the problem right away (graphics card burnt a hole in itself and scorched the wifi card) and replaced it with a new graphics card. I’ve used Uni Computers twice now and have received excellent service. I’ve got a background in computers and when it gets too much for me I use these guys. The first time I used them they correctly diagnosed an incompatible motherboard BIOS problem with a new computer that we were building at home. The second time I used them they saved a laptop from the junk pile as the display was no longer working. Its great to know that we don't always simply throw away those old computers when in truth, they may well do the very job you need them for.

We are a small business down the Reading Road and our old desktop running Windows XP (!} finally stopped coming to life and we had some good old established graphics files on the hard drive. Uni Computers reviewed, fixed and solved our issues within a few days and at a really realistic price.

Everything working again for a fraction of the price of replacements. its like getting an old friend back

My PC's hard drive appeared to have failed which meant lost data. After ringing Uni I was asked to bring it in and I was able to pick it up with working hard drive, no lost data and charged a very reasonable amount by the polite and knowledgeable owner. I had experienced complete pc failure and took it to Adnan at Uni Computers. Within just a matter of moments was able to assure me that the problem with the hard drive could be fixed. He explained that the pc would be worth the investment of a new SSE drive and was fully confident that my pc would be as good as new, and would be ready to pick up later that day. Adnan explained the failure, new parts and how it would benefit me without the need to invest in a new pc. Within 4 hours of me taking in my laptop I had a call to say that it was fixed and ready to go. He obviously loves what he does which shows in his knowledge, expertise; and great customer facing skills and the ability to put your mind at rest that a stressful situation can be rectified without any fuss. When a major laptop retailer and software provider could not help, who could I turn to? Having used Uni before I called them and they said pop over. Within 4 hours they recovered my data and replaced the drive. This saved me lots of stress and down time, with one file being invaluable. These people are heroes! They put in way more time than I originally paid for and went above and beyond the call of duty. Today I spoke on phone and took my Laptop to Adnan ar Uni Computers, first of all the guy is extremely friendly and has very good knowledge of Laptops both SW and HW. No messing about he told me the exact problem straight away and changed my network adaptor card to a better spec than my Laptop has. First quoted me 30 GBP and then gave me a discount for 25 pounds.
