I'm a dedicated DBS checked Dog Trainer. I've owned dogs for my whole life during which time I've participated in dog showing, obedience and protection sports. As a trainer I've trained most breeds. My training ethos is positive reinforcement based using motivation to imprint good behaviours on puppies and adult dogs as I believe a good decision out of choice, well rewarded, is one that will become instinctive over time with repetition.

Working with Mark has been extremely helpful for myself and my dog Bella. She is a rescue and was isolated for a very long time. She’s 4 and it’s been difficult and overwhelming to try and get her trained as it didn’t seem like she has had much in her previous home. Mark has been so good with us both. Under Mark's guidance, I have been learning effective techniques to address my dog's stubbornness and establish loose lead walking.
Mark employs a combination of play and training methods, centered around positive reinforcement. This approach has yielded promising results in terms of keeping my dog focused on following me and preventing her from pulling me during walks.
Additionally, Mark's training has contributed to my dog's overall obedience. I am pleased with the progress she has made thus far, despite her age. Mark's expertise has been invaluable in helping both me and my German Shepherd. I am enjoying my girl so much now.
Moving forward, I am committed to maintaining the progress we have achieved through consistent practice and reinforcement. I will continue to implement the techniques and strategies Mark has taught me to ensure my dog's continued improvement and to strengthen our bond further.
In summary, thanks to Mark's guidance, my stubborn and set-in-her-ways 7-year-old German Shepherd is making significant strides in loose lead walking and overall obedience. Prompt responses and then when we finally collected our Pup and had Mark come over he eliviated any worries we had and gave us the tools to cope with the hectic world of having a puppy and how to get him behaving early on. Mark has been so fantastic with my stubborn old English bulldog. She pulled so much on the lead that I gave up walking her, but he corrected that in 1 session and carried on training at home. We met Mark by accident when he witnessed our young Jack Russel taking us for a walk and suggested classes might be good idea. Well, four lessons later and it is now much easier to go for a walk.
