Been here a couple of times for classes through classpass. I really love the instructors and the challenge here. I use classes mostly as an accessory to my running and powerlifting and it’s perfect with TRX because they make me do the things I don’t wanna do.

TRX is incredible; I love the incorporation of slam balls and kettlebells to the workouts as well. The teachers are amazing: Matt is my super favorite - love his sequences, his music, and his infectious and insane motivating energy. Got hooked on TRX because of him! Also like Claudia and Ashley a lot. Amenities here are solid. Oh, and staff is always very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Love this place! More...

Best group workout. Really great and attentive trainers. Additionally, the gym and amenities are nice and clean. Staff is really friendly. Not cheap, but definitely worth it if you have trouble motivating yourself in the gym. Miguel (one of the trainers) will never disappoint and you'll always leave sore and exhausted. More...

Miguel Vargas our instructor for the 1300 class on 11/15/18 was a great introduction for me. I have used TRX straps at 24 Hour Fitness, TFX Fitness Concord,CA and Crunch, but only for an exercise or two. This again was just the TRX fit class, so novice ability is what I think I heard this class was rated. Being for sure the largest person in the room by +100lbs, I didn't feel excluded, or look down upon for not going as hard as those seasoned users. A wee confusing with getting a class scheduled and locked in, as I was blessed by the Zenrez site for discounted last minute tickets. making a whole separate log in for this necessary. In all, this can be a class for a first timer, but feel learning the strapping system and the core moves before attending a class will allow for a more fluid and productive experience overall. Pricing seemed high ish, but not knowing what it regularly costs, just was my feeling. Got the deal of $17 for the 50 min class, where as the main site was $27. Amenities are nice. Locks at front desk for lockers, towels for use, two showers in the mens locker room, and others things that I did not ask about or see a need for with my first visit. TRX is an amazing functional movement-based workout. It can be as challenging as you need it to be, and if you buy a TRX trainer, you just put it in a small bag and take it with you when you travel. TRX on the go!

I love this place - especially the FIT class (a little more sweaty than the strength class) and especially Matt Noble. As we all know, an instructor can make or break a class and he really makes it. Sooo thorough, helpful, knows his stuff, and offers a challenging workout (ohhh those slam balls!). Most importantly, he has such a positive and motivation attitude. I usually do his 6am Wednesday class or 7:30am Sunday class ... rough times to get up for! But Matt makes it worth it with his upbeat attitude. Thanks TRX Center and Matt! More...

Give TRX a shot. Your first class is always a little awkward, sometimes its not easy to get your footing in the suspended straps. Don't let that deter you. Give it a two week trial and you will notice your balance improve, and the straps will become another extension of yourself. You will gain confidence in each movement and get some serious results!! In 6 mos. I have lost 20 lbs and gained so much muscle/strength. The coaches are amazing and will help you meet your fitness goals if you ask for advice. More...

Been coming here a few times a week for 6+ months. They have a great program that incorporates a ton of equipment (kettlebells, ripsticks, slamballs, etc. ) into TRX, which places them well over any other place that just teaches TRX. You're also getting taught by the best TRX trainers who train and license all other gyms that offer TRX. I've noticed when I go back to other studios, I'm WAY stronger, have put on a ton of muscle in the upper body, and I'm better able to complete just about any HIIT program out there.+1 for dog friendly and major pluses for being one of the only places I go that isn't 100% filled by Class Passers. I see the same faces day after day. If you show up enough, the instructors get to know your style and are awesome about pushing you to try more complex movements or lift heavier weights--- they're easy on you if you want to be in the background, but also will give you a push if you want to be challenged.I'm more than happy to pay out of pocket without any 3rd party booking service. Everything huuuuurts. Two days later and I'm still reminded of what I've done here. I have worked with TRX before, but little did I know what I was getting myself into: an intense, very sweaty workout that brought me to my limits. Granted, my shape isn't particularly noteworthy these days and this class reminded me that I got some work to do. The reception staff was just about friendly enough for me not to walk out of there again, but I really liked the instructor, who took some time to explain to me how to adjust the straps, since we'd be moving pretty quickly during class. He frequently checked on me during class and I didn't feel judged as I collapsed on my mat a couple of times. I feel encouraged to keep going and will probably go back here as soon as my ClassPass allows. More...

I must admit, I'm an addict. It all started innocently last summer with just one class (meeting a friend there). I loved the class, but thought I could stop at 1 (or maybe 2). Now, 7 months later, I'm a full blown TRX junkie. ;o)In all seriousness, I adore these classes. Why? First off, the teachers are excellent (my trifecta is Miguel, Zach and Felix - but give them all a whirl). They are well-versed in the workings of the body, and sequence classes that make the most sense for an overall conditioning. Each has their own style (for instance, I go to Miguel when I want a very focused, challenging class that kicks my butt, and then some). Classes are also designed for you to go at your own pace, thus avoiding injury.Secondly, the overall vibe is so friendly - the staff is amazing (Kayla and her co-horts rock) and there's a feeling of welcoming and warmth. The students mean business, but in a friendly, non-competitive way.Thirdly, it's the best overall conditioning workout I've experienced that supports healthy workouts. So many other places have resulted in some sort of injury, due to over-exertion, poor instruction, or 'macho-aggression'. Not here. They care about the long game.Lastly, my body is strong, core is solid -and I've never looked better! It's the best way to spend   a strength-building, cardio-induced hour. More...

I love TRX and the TRX Training Center. I tore my hip labrum and hamstring about 18 months ago, my PT recommended I try TRX for strength training as part of my long-term rehab. In a matter of weeks I noticed MAJOR differences, and I'm PAIN FREE. The staff here is awesome, I've yet to take a class that I haven't enjoyed (I must admit, I do have some favorite teachers that I stick to ;) ), and I'm starting to grow a community of friends in class. Can't say enough about how much I love the TRX training center. I had done TRX before moving to San Francisco, but the instructors at the training center really made me fall in love with it. I've been coming here almost daily for over a year now and I'm still learning new tips and techniques from the awesome trainers. I have gotten so much stronger but am still sore after some particularly killer workouts (thanks Miguel). If you haven't tried a class yet and want to, DO IT! You won't regret it. Whether you're looking for cardio, strength, or a combo, there really is something for everyone. Adjusting the straps is hard at first but stick with it... It gets easier :) More...

Miguel Vargas is the trainer for the trainers across the United States, actually come to think of it, even globally. The class is a great challenge and many workouts are push focused, but TRX is awesome cause it works the pulling, which is great for your posture! The facility is clean, has great locker rooms with showers. The staff are all kind, and so informed and good at what they do. If you like TRX take it from the source. You will love it. More...

Literally a week after I posted my last review, the entire schedule changed lol.There's still TRX Strong, but there is no more "TRX body blast. " Now the workouts include more cardio in the form of TRX Fit and TRX Sweat.My order of preference: TRX Strong, TRX Fit, TRX Sweat.The first time I walked into one of the new classes, I was surprised like what. is. this. I feel like Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect when she says, "Yea, no. Don't put me down for cardio." Uggghhh, I really don't want to do cardio. I get that it's probably doing more for my body in terms of burning calories, but I miss the days of having 60 minutes of pure suspension training because that's what gave me a rush. Still, the instructors here are awesome and truthfully you can't get ripped without getting rid of excess fat through cardio. I've convinced myself to suck it up.It's funny because TRX Sweat is my least preferred class but I end up signing up for it the most because of schedule convenience. I've taken Medwin Mina's classes a couple of times and they're great. Don't let his larger stature fool you; I've probably had my toughest workouts in his classes! Seriously, the first time I went to his TRX Sweat class, I pushed myself so hard that I almost passed out (probably not ok to share but it's the truth). Most of the time, I can't walk for like 2 days because his workouts are really legwork heavy. I also have to mentally prepare myself for the exhaustion because there might be running, or maybe even jumproping, and definitely burpees. I've also taken TRX Fit twice with Tenae Roth. Man, she is ripped. Sometimes she's demonstrating these exercises, and I'm like Wow, body goals. She incorporates the perfect amount of strength training and cardio for me. I feel like I'm burning calories and toning up without feeling overexerted. Thankfully, it's offered just as often as TRX Sweat.TRX Strong is still my fave. I only wish it were offered in the afternoon/evenings during the beginning of the week instead of just Thursday and Friday. And it fills up fast on classpass :(Another update: I think it's safe to assume my 2 favorite instructors are gone. Jamel Ramiro is at Hit Fit SF and Alexis Craig is at Sweat Republic (read my last review for gushing praise). Nonetheless, the other instructors are all really, really great too. You really can't go wrong coming to the TRX Training Center versus taking a TRX class at another studio because these guys are the best of the best. I've had some weak, disappointing TRX workouts at other studios, but you can be sure to get an awesome one here.I want to give 4 stars because I miss body blast and hate cardio, but I can't.
