John at Trudgeon Halling has been very supportive of us as we start our new business, he has dealt with our queries really well, has been very helpful in meetings and given me confidence at a time when I am starting something completely new with very little previous accounting experience. The only criticism stopping them getting to a 5 star rating is the fees, which are on the high side considering the small size of my business and the fact I also use Xero, they might come down as the year progresses, but at the moment it is more than I was planning to spend. Although in saying that so far John has been helpful, particularly setting Xero up and navigating the initial start up. More...

What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We are a general practice that serves mainly owner managed businesses with useful management accounts and information, VAT and payroll, general annual accounting for sole traders and partnerships, statutory accounts for limited companies and self assessment tax returns. Also we prepare income statements for small traders and landlords. We use Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Freeagent, all ready for Making tax Digital.
