Matthew has a professional outlook when dealing with clients. He is thorough in examination and offers a robust prescription. It has enabled my wife to reduce her back pain which now allows her to exercise. Previously she would exercise and suffer lower back pain that would reduce her ability to continue. This has now been reversed thanks to Matthew. More...

I had my consultation with matthew the other day. It was at least one and half hours long in which matthew did a very thorough exam and spent the time explaining everything as we went along.
By the end i had a much better understanding of my problem and the best way to move forward.
For me personally it was the best £89 (Groupon) spent looking forward to receiving my orthotics

Are you suffering from Back, Knee, Hip or Ankle Pain?

Training in Motion specialise in providing online training programs based around correcting biomechanical asymmetries linked to Leg Length Inequality assessed through the Pelvic Equilibrium Theory. All of our patients have been referred to us following a biomechanical / clinical assessment and therefore have been prescribed the Biomechanics Protocol training regime to correct any of the issues they are experiencing. The focus of the training programs are to increase joint stabilization, increase range of movement and reduce pain.

The beginner Biomechanics Protocol is prescribed to people who have more severe biomechanical issues resulting in limited mobility. The exercise program is based around basic movement patterns without putting any added stress on vulnerable areas.

The Biomechanical Consultation includes:

A detailed clinical assessment of your posture.
An assessment of your leg length and pelvic function using a Digital Pelvic Inclinometer (DPI).
A detailed assessment of your footwear.
A computerised pressure plate scan of your feet

Are you looking to improve your running technique? Looking to get the most out of your training?

The Improve My Running Protocol works closely with runners and athletes of all abilities to improve their running technique through an individualised online training program. Following an initial consultation, each runner will be provided with a training regime that aims to eliminate any muscular imbalances caused by poor form and enhance performance whilst eliminating the potential risk of injury occuring.

Following your initial consultation, a 12 week online programme will be produced based on your individual requirements. The focus of the program will be to remove any muscular imbalances and get you running pain or injury free.
