So very lucky to find Tra An available for a last minute bachelor party dinner for 15 in Big Bear! They worked with us to ensure a tasty assortment of items that were served buffet-style.

Tra An Cuisine is top notch food and service.  Tea helped me plan the 6 course meal for my sister's bachelorette party for a group of 11 of us.  Developing the menu with Tea was super easy.  Tea was so easy to work with, was very prompt in getting back to me and made the whole planning process a piece of cake.  Her prices are very fair and I love how she gave us a per person quote rather than giving us just an estimate of what the food "might" cost like many other private chefs do.  The meal was a wonderful variety of different types of cuisine.  Her staff was very professional, efficient and cleaned everything up quickly.  We had a wonderful dinner and I would definitely recommend Tea to all my friends and family. Tea catered for my sister's 30th birthday weekend. Everything was delicious and all the guests are still raving about the food. Working with Tea to come up with a menu was easy, and she was receptive to all my suggestions and changes. The plating & set-ups were beautiful and professionally done. I was happy to find a caterer of such caliber up in Big Bear. We had the uni pork shoulder toast (delish), ceviche on prawn crackers (most popular appetizer for our group), and the honeydew melon gazpacho shooters (I loved it, although it was a little too green for some of the "kids"). For our mains we had a decadently cheesy (IG Boomerang worthy) truffle mac & cheese, lamb steak with black garlic butter and broccoli rabe, corn coconut crab soup (my personal favorite & a huge hit, it was hard to choose), and a flavorful creole mustard green salad. Tea and crew did a wonderful job for a group of 20 hungry men for two nights in a row.  We were all blown away with 5 course meals and quality restaurant service.  They even decorated the table with themes for each night.  Something that was above and beyond expectations.I would highly recommend Tra An Cuisine for any personal chef services. We contacted Tea regarding setting up catering for a group of 21 people who were renting a cabin in Big Bear for the weekend. Getting quotes and developing a menu with Tea was a breeze. Her communication was swift and clear. The prices she quoted us were great and we booked her for our weekend. The whole experience could not have been better. The food was delicious and the quantity was more than enough for our whole group of hungry young people. We finished off leftovers late each night as our festivities dragged on. Tea was very amenable to suggestions to the menus and customization. She was also mindful of any food sensitivities or allergies that our group may have had. Hopefully we will be back in Big Bear next year and if we are, we will certainly be reaching out to Tea again to provide us with catering service. More...
