Unsatisfactory!!
Chris is a very VERY slow decorator and at one point I thought he might of died in my living room. He takes 5-10 seconds to reply to anything said to him as if he’s trying to come up with something clever to say, he seemed extremely nervous at all times and hesitant making things feel very awkward.
He completed the job 2 days longer than anyone else quoted me for.
I thought the finish would be to a AAA standard with him taking so long but to my detriment it was not!
I’ll defiantly be avoiding this company unless you want a “tradesman” in your home far longer than necessary with a bog standard finish.
Over priced, slow and extremely nervous.

Chris did a fantastic job painting our flat! Very professional, extremely high standard of work, always punctual and good chat, too! Stripped all the wallpaper, painted the walls, ceilings, doors, skirtings, radiators - you name it, with high quality materials and for a very competitive price, and it didn't take him very long, even though he did the job all by himself. Chris and Rory painted the shop front of my hairdressing salon recently.I found them to be very easy to work with, friendly and extremely hard working. The preparation work was of an incredibly high standard, as was the finished result,I found that the rates of remuneration charged was fair and very competitive.I would not hesitate to recommend them without reservation, and will only consider engaging Town and Country in the future. Chris was very professional, very friendly and is very good at what he does. The job was finished to such a high standard. Nothing was a issue to sort out, Chris came out when he said he would, he did more than I expected such as sanding the plaster work to get it right and flat, also very clean and tidy. I had an issue with some paint cracking afterwards and Chris came out same day to have a look and sort it without any questions. We contacted Town and Country to paint a property that will be used as an office accommodation. Chris came straight away to survey the property and promptly gave us a quote. It was a challenging task as aside from the floor area spread over two floors, we've scheduled painting while there are still other trades in the premises. Chris had to go over surfaces they've already painted to fix the mess left by other trades. I have to thank both Chrises for their patience and understanding, at one point it felt like there's no end in sight but they really persevered and finished the job to a high standard. They were polite, tidy and never gave me a problem the whole time they were in the property. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Town and Country for their professionalism and excellent quality of work. Thanks for the sterling job you made of redecorating my kitchen last week. You were able to paint the walls - three coats no less!
- and gloss the woodwork in just a day and a half.
With all the corners and fiddly bits in the kitchen this was a D.I.Y. task which would have undoubtedly taken me at least a week but you left me with a professional finish I could never have achieved in a month of Sundays.
I will gladly recommend your services to anyone in need a quality job at a fair price.
From first quote to final coat... you do exactly what it says on the tin.
