Fantastic cinema. The IMAX screen in studio 3 is incredible (very large, very high definition) and the 4DX screen is great fun (3D, plus moving seats, water jets when there's a splash on screen, air bursts when a bullet shoots past, pressure pads in the back of the seat when the actor is punched, etc). Try it for an action film. Staff are incredibly helpful and the location is fantastic. A great place to watch the latest blockbuster. More...

Fantastic cinema with new seating and clean unisex toilets but if you don't like people touching your popcorn then give it a skip. I had someone scooping it up with her bare hands. Not ideal. I'm still alive, but it's something management needs to address. Audio and spacing of seats is worth the slightly higher price. More...

Very grandiose entrance with a huge semi circular advertisement screen at the top of the stairs. Efficient system for collecting tickets and intimate cinema booths with reclining seats for comfort. Our viewing had great quality visuals and sound and not ridiculously over-priced for central London. More...

Nice cinema, prefer this cinema to Odeon! Getting your snacks always takes a long time no matter which cinema you visit. You can upgrade your seats when booking online, upgraded seats have more leg room. I recently saw Infinity War in 4D great experience, 3D glasses with the chairs moving, smells and water being sprayed. More...

The cinema is just great... I watched black panther in there and it was really good. Not as big as the IMAX cinema in Waterloo London but it's still good. One issue though... They are refurbishing the cinema so it looks like a hot mess right now and just really presents Cineworld in a bad light - first impressions when you first walk in is... What the hell? Where do i go? What's going on? But once you get to your seats... Everything is all good! More...

This venue is one of the best cinemas in London. Cineworld only took over the place in 2017 previously it was the Empire. They have unfortunately split the old grand screen used for premiers into two still large screens . Being a Cineworld means you can become a member and see as many movies as you want for just £20 a month. More...

The poolside common areas are great with chairs and umbrellas for free. Also the servers are ever present to provide whatever you like from their cafe menu. My wife is hard to cook for since she has to special order for low salt. The chef nailed it perfectly. That was memorable. More...

It's under construction! But imax 3D screen is huuuuuge and amazing!! Went to see black panther. The leg room is a little bit tied and when I have to stand up for people to walk by they still knock my things down. Otherwise it's good.

Went and saw Black Panther in IMAX 3D and holy cow was it good. Not just the movie but the whole experience. The staff is also friendly and helpful. If you fancy yourself a trip to the movie theater and you're in the vicinity of Piccadilly Circus go to the Cineworld, you won't regret it More...

I think this cinema is fab. The films they show, are brilliant. As soon as a film is out, that I want to watch, I am there. The snacks are ok, but I wish they had a wider variety, and that the sweets were sugar free. More...

Nice conversion of the old Empire cinema. Being so central, it fills some smaller screens a lot of the times, so pre-booking at least half a day ahead is recommended. Look out for Brian, the nicest ticketeer ever! More...

Since Cineworld took over this landmark movie theatre I have been a regular customer, taking advantage of the Unlimited card offers. It would be great to see a greater variety of movies on the programme as the flexibility of the multi screen would allow for more art movies in the smaller theatres. The IMAX and Super screens are amazing! More...

Conveniently located in the gaudy heart of the west end, right on Leicester Square. The cinema complex itself is quite spacious. They have a bigger, more luxurious and plush cinemas as well as small pokey overheated ones. A good escape from the crowds to catch a film. More...

Great venue directly in Leicester Square.
Staff are helpful and friendly.

IMAX 3D was epic and the glasses were really good.

The seats were a little bit cramped compared to other IMAX theatres that I have visited.
Being 2m tall, my knees were on the seat in front making it uncomfortable for the whole movie, but the seat itself wasn't too bad.

Didn't have time to grab snacks so cannot comment on price and service.

Foyer and snack bar areas are a bit dated, but the seats are comfortable in the auditoriums. Screens are good, great sound. Just make sure you don't sit close to the screen and at the side when you're in the super screen or IMAX - it really does affect your enjoyment of the film if you're having to crane your neck to see. The cinematic experience with IMAX 3d and Sony sound just keeps me coming back for more. Today for Blade Runner 2049, a fantastic film. I'm in a wheelchair and access is via a door at the back of the cinema. The staff are very helpful in helping you up and down here even if the pathway is a little rustic in appearance! I find that row A , though closest and lowest puts you in a position where you have a truly immersive experience. Will be back for more More...

Amazing cinema! Tickets and food are slightly pricier than other cinemas although it's in an amazing, convinent location. The food there tastes great and the staff are helpful . Only complaint I have is not having glow in the dark letter signs on the floor inside the screens. This makes it difficult when going up the stairs in the darkness when the movie has started. It creates a disturbance and annoys other viewers. More...

I've been coming to this place for about a year now since Cineworld took it over from Empire. Staff have always been friendly and helpful and the cinemas are clean and well kept. I have to comment on their gate host Brian. Brian is probably the most helpful and accommodating host I have ever experienced at a cinema . He is kind and provides useful information. He genuinely wants to help customers out and I can't help but feel appreciated when he greets us. Management should be commended for identifying him as a people person. I have talked about Brian's kindness with several of my friends that frequent this location and we all confirmed that Brian has so much to do with our amazing experiences at this location. Congrats Cineworld and keep up the great work Brian. We will keep coming back! More...

If you want to see the latest film it will be on here. We went into screen 1 and it was a fantastic experience. As always with UK cinemas the snacks and drinks are overpriced so consider other arrangements of you want popcorn and a coke. As it's on Leicester Square there is no problem choosing somewhere to eat when you come out. More...
