Tom Godfrey Photography is run by, well, me! I am a trained and working photojournalist. As such I specialize in photographic story telling. I use my experience as a photographer for publications around the world to capture the moments that will last a life time.

Tom Godfrey is a wonderful photographer!! We have worked with him twice now. Most recently, he met us at our location to photograph my immediate family and my large extended family (ages 6 months to 76). He did an amazing job with our group -- we were 14 people altogether. Tom was very easy going, so the photo session felt very comfortable. Tom was great with the kids -- we had 4 young children with us and they all stood nicely and smiled. Tom carefully chose a nice level spot for us with a lovely background and the most perfect lighting. The photos came out absolutely beautiful -- I can't wait to give them to my parents for Christmas!!! Tom was also very responsive, and his prices were fair. The photos were returned quickly. He also has a great selection of albums, digitals, holiday cards, etc. I look forward to working with Tom again, and I highly recommend him! More...

We feel so incredibly fortunate to have met and worked with Tom, who did our engagement and wedding photos. In sum, we worked with Tom for over two years, meaning that we got to know him, his photography, and his process pretty darn well. He is incredibly professional, responsive, accommodating, and just an all around joy to work with. He was incredibly flexible in the preparation and setting of our engagement photos, and agreed to our many requests, including driving several hours to the site of our choice for our engagement photos, without hesitation. His professionalism is met with passion and an easy-going nature, making for a seamless process from start to finish. He was always readily available, and went above and beyond time and time again for us. Our wedding party was completely enamored by his presentation and skill, with one of our bridesmaids selecting him as her own engagement and wedding photographer as well (which is awesome, because Tom is the best!) Tom was incredibly timely in his delivery of photos, which came only shortly after he gave us some sneak-peaks to swoon over. The entire album from our wedding left us speechless, as we couldn’t have imagined that pictures could so beautifully and elegantly portray our special day. Tom is a true master of his craft, and did an amazing job at capturing all of our special moments, and creating a final product that myself, my wife, and our guests have all been completely stunned by. I worked with Tom as another vendor this weekend at the Worcester Art Museum. We used Tom as our wedding photographer this past weekend and he was AMAZING! He was so thoughtful and creative with all of his photos and left no stone unturned. He was one of the most professional people I have ever met. He didn't blink an eye as he lugged his equipment around our venue in the 95 degree and 100% humidity heat. He was eager to please me, as the bride, and made me feel comfortable with every shot that he took. After he left, every single one of my guests complimented his attention to detail and his obvious passion for photography. Tom went above and beyond for my now husband and I. We chose Tom to do our engagement photos as well as being the photographer at our wedding. He drove over half an hour to do our engagement photos and even took the time to scope out the park a few days before hand with his fiance. He knew all the great spots for amazing shots, he knew exactly what he wanted and he let us have our suggestions as well. He was so accommodating and helpful through the process. We needed to cancel once and he had no problem rearranging and adding us into his schedule for a later date. He did a tremendous job at our wedding, running around, sneaking into perfect shots and even laying on the ground for a few. Needless to say or engagement and wedding photos came out phenomenal. His editing skills are incomparable and he has a true passion for photography. I would recommend him highly! Thank you again Tom.

Tom recently shot photos of my LO at his studio for her smash cake and We are very pleased with every aspect of our shoot! We chatted back and forth a bit before the shoot and on the day of the shoot, the set was exactly as I expected! The studio is super cute with tons of props and inspiration there and ready to use! My now husband and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding we did not want to spend 3-4 or even $5,000 like a lot of the photographers out there I know everyone says you get what you pay for but not in this case Tom came to my wedding and made my day absolutely spectacular he did not miss one ounce of anything or any part of our wedding he even got there before the wedding took photos of my husband snuck into my bridal room and got beautiful pictures in fact I almost think he did too good of a job because we are having a terrible time trying to choose which pictures we do want to make larger and get portraits of I cannot say enough about Tom he truly is an amazing and fun photographer things you would never think of to have photographed or places you would never think to be photographed he finds very unique and very reasonable highly recommend

We found Tom through the Shrewsbury town website and hired him to capture special moments at our baby’s first birthday party. Tom is easy to work with; he is pleasant and has a great personality. He is very prompt, communicative and always after the best light, resulting in amazing photographs.
Additionally, Tom navigates through the venue for the best spots. It is evident that he knows how to connect with families to make them comfortable, resulting in amazing photos.

We hired Tom for our real estate photos. He was incredibly friendly and professional. We were in a rush to get our house on the market and he even went out of his way to make sure we got our photos in less than 24 hours. Compared to other real estate photographers, Tom's prices were incredibly fair and he spent adequate time making sure he got the lighting right in each room. I was looking to get a professional headshot. Found Tom through Google and he seemed to be the best value for money. While he was offering a 60 min headshot session with 4 pics, most others were doing 30 mins and would provide me with just one pic and the option to buy more. To top that, Tom was charging close to half!The session was easy going, Tom was super professional and I LOVED the pics!
