We had our rotten, uneven, wooden stairs in the back of the house replaced with brick and flagstone steps. We have 3 levels, so there were 2 sets of step, first level with 5 and second level with 12. They now look OUTSTANDING!

When we first contacted ZebraScapes, Rodney came out the following day to give us an estimate. We were shocked that they could start the next week as many other quotes we received took weeks and the work would have been scheduled out months. There are many landscape companies you can choose from. They will all tell you they will do a wonderful job and that the results will be beautiful. I have had experience with several and ZebraScapes (ZS) is, by far, the best. We got several quotes for our backyard landscaping. We chose ZS because we liked their design, but most importantly, we trusted the people we were dealing with. This was very important to us and we knew ZS would stay on the job until we were completely satisfied. ZS has a certified horticulturist (that teaches at a local university) that contacted us and personally took us to a nursery. He reviewed ALL of the trees and plants we wanted on our landscaping and provided us with an amazing amount of detailed information on each species. He made many recommendations to us that we welcomed and helped us with our selections. This is a personalized service that we found unique and priceless. The laborers that worked on our yard were all very courteous and humble. We enjoyed having them on our premise. The field supervisors were attentive and polite and made sure the job was done to our satisfaction. The end result is amazing as you can see from the pictures. ZebraScapes did a beautiful job of installing 4400 SF of pavers for our front patios and driveway. They met all of their promises, including having a crew on site to start work on the day they scheduled to start. My yard was under-nourished, over-grown,and had far-too-many plants. It and I needed help! When ZebraScapes finished working on it, my yard looked trimmed, spacious, clean and beautiful. We are very impressed with ZebraScapes. As a retired construction project manager I know good subcontractors from the average company and would have to rate this firm far above the norm. Our project involved total landscaping of @1 acre including significant grading, @7,000 sf of pavers with numerous other landscaping features. During initial negotiation we were very comfortable in discussing budgets and scope. Fact is we felt so comfortable in what started as driveway paving ended up full entrance way/shop paving with patio and front yard reconstruction They presented a concept plan which was accepted by us. As the work progressed we initiated additional scope to the contract requiring change orders. Generally CO's to contractors can be big revenue generators, but the CO pricing we received was very fair and in-line with our budgets.

The workforce was excellent and very respective of our property. What really impressed me was the housecleaning. When they left the job, everything was picked up and either loaded up or neatly put to the side. They took the time to rake up the footprints and leave the area in a near pristine condition. The foreman and crew were very friendly and provided suggestions to the work which added value without additional costs. We were so please with their work, we purchased lunch for the crew as a token of our appreciation.

The management was excellent to work with, they always kept us in the loop on schedule and activities. They were constantly checking with us to make sure we were happy with the work. We have asked them to do future landscape maintenance due to the respect we have for the company.

Would definitely recommend this firm to others...the finished product gives us the sensation of being in our own private resort and is exactly what we had in mind.. More...
