Timberland Sheds Yorkshire

Delighted with my summerhouse. Mat and Lewis did an excellent job putting up the shed, quick and efficient.

A mixed review this one…

1. The lady in the showroom in Hull was extremely helpful and despite me being a little worried by negative reviews, I ordered a shed and left with a warm fuzzy feeling.

2. The shed was delivered on the Monday as promised, however the two guys who were going to build it told me they had left the floor in Selby and would have to return the following morning.

3. The shed was erected when I arrived home from work the following day, however I later discovered that one of the windows had not been put in correctly and was leaving a gap that I could put my finger through. This was a direct result of really shabby and lazy workmanship.

4. I rang the office in Hull and spoke to a chap who sounded genuinely concerned, he promised me he would fix the problem and would call me back either later that day or the following morning. After a week I still had not received that phone call.

5. I posted my problem on the Timberland Shed Facebook page, and within an hour a very helpful lady rang me and promised to resolve the issue. A guy turned up at my house and fixed the problem very quickly, and I’m now very happy with my shed.

In Summary, I think that Timberland sheds really should have a look at the work ethic that exists within the company. It’s obvious to me that some are extremely professional, whilst others are clearly not. Their product is fine, but a poor attitude to work will undoubtedly damage the overall reputation of the company. More...

Absolutely lovely sheds unfortunately though there is no care in the erection of the sheds and absolutely no after sales care. Waited a long time after agreed installation date before they came to install. Was during Lockdown 1.0 so understandable, however;

The base they installed sunk within a few weeks,
The doors were warped on install and wouldn't close correctly.
Had to call back to install Finials and cross members that were missing.
Finial has already dropped down within weeks of fitting.
knot holes over 20mm were left and when eventually filled was badly done.
There are large scuff marks on both ends of the workshop.
Big gap between the two doors which lets water in.

Phoned and emailed on several occasion and always spoken to nicely with the promises to fix. Nearly a year later and still nothing despite the threat of legal action.

Would not recommend at all as they really do not seem to care. More...
