I contacted Tim recently about an infected toe/toe nail and after a very short discussion Tim was happy to see me at very short notice. Tim was very professional and as the appointment went on he explained everything precisely and clearly. Tim thought the infection may be tracking up my leg and spent some time on the phone to my doctor to ensure i got anti-biotics straight away. I cannot thank Tim enough. 15 year old grandson with an ongoing ingrowing toenail which was not healing despite numerous trips to drs. Considerable pain. He was prescribed antibiotics until he was referred to a specialist. Antibiotics failed to do anything. He also has a phobia about needles and Aspergers so needs to be handled with care. In desperation I rang Tim who was so reassuring. He said he would see luke on Saturday which is Tim’s day off. From the moment we walked in he put Luke and us at ease, explaining everything in detail to Luke, who was by this time so relaxed with Tim he let him sort his toe out without anaesthetic. 6 months of pain and upset gone in an hour. Saved by Tim twice , the first occasion is recounted on a review I placed on Tim’s Website , oh about a year ago, and concerned a problem which other podiatrists had failed to spot. You would think I would take note of Tim’s advice, but oh no, cutting my toes before Xmas I attempted to round the big toe nail & shape down the side ! I managed to cut toe and the flesh , and it seems I left a sharp piece of toe nail in there somewhere, I popped a plaster on and thought that will be fine, not so, it became infected. I went to see Tim Pursey, while on holiday, after reading the other excellent reviews. I was so nervous about my appointment having had two extremely painful previous experiences at the chiropodist. Tim couldn't have been more kind, sensitive and professional. He put me at my ease and administered an anaesthetic so carefully that I honestly was in no pain at all.
