Ben appeared switched on and understood our extension project in 2020 - How wrong we were - he produced drawings for the extension on the wrong forms and when we tried to chase him up to his error he fobbed us off with comments like “I’m in a meeting , I’m working away , I’ve run out of ink “ the list of poor excuses was pathetic and his lack of personal responsibility for his own huge error was shocking so much so we lost 6 months as the builders had to start other projects that his incompetence held up, the local planning dept couldn’t get him to answer his mobile to discuss the plans !
When the builders finally started work in July the drawings and measurements and angles for the roof were all out meaning we had to use the builders architects to correct Ben’s mistakes .
Thankfully our fantastic builder and his architect sorted this completed a great job but we made a huge mistake hiring this amateur .
