What makes a great website?
Your website is likely to be the first touch point a prospective customer will have with your company so it's important to make that first impression count! It has to be clear, descriptive and engaging with customer focused information that draws their attention whilst maintaining your companys tone and brand values.
When building a site we must first think about the type of customers we are trying to attract and curate content and images to suit their tastes with engaging CTA's to drive traffic to your sales or management team. Above all your website should be simple and responsive as an increasing number of customers are using mobiles and will nto have the patience the navigate around a confusing site.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I start every new relationship with a free marketing consultation so that I can understand a clients needs and expectations. Rather than pushing a package on them i like to tailor make services around their strengths and budgets which has been well received to date.
What information do you need from a client before you start work?
Everything is covered in the free consultation and I will then create an action plan with reccomendations to kick-start their marketing campaign.
What sorts of printing projects do you usually cater for?
Leaflets, business cards, posters, promotional goods... I can design and print almost any project including specialist services such as Litho, Duplo and more.
Describe your creative process.
I start my drafting my plans on a shared doc and listing the requirements.
Followed by some competitor research and comparisons with other work online.
Then I write an action plan for myself with a list of the steps involved which can be easily shared with the client.
I then carry out the work and ask for feedback from the client until it's perfect and the client has seen results.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Everything is covered in the free consultation and I then provide them with my initial recommendations for the project or first 4 weeks depending on the requirement. I find that asking thought provoking questions about a business is a far better way to ascertain someones needs rather than them simply sending over a brief.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the versatility of being a marketing consultant, each client is unique and I tailor make a marketing package for each one!
Last week was a perfect example, and reminded me why I love being a consultant... I have learnt so much from my clients over the past few years and have started to connect clients together to utilise their strengths.
I went to the 02 to shoot a music video,. On Tuesday I build a Shopify website and designed a Logo. On Wednesday I gave some adobe training and helped a team people affected by the Grenfell Fire at The Portobello Business Centre. On Thursday I was running a co-wroking group in Boston Manor and finished off the SEO for my own personal website. On Friday I worked on a few google adwords campaigns and telemarketing services and secured 2 months work for a client and finally on Saturday I taught myself the basics of app development to help build a music therapy app for vulnerable adults. www.musicmemory.co.uk (site is being built at the moment)
What inspired you to start your own business?
I found that friends, family and people in my network were often asking for marketing support from me and I love working for small businesses so decided to go solo in July 2017 after 8 years of working for big corporate companies in the city.
