The Tutoress

Very poor service so far, not at all happy.

My son has missed the entire first day of the course because Victoria hasn't sent a link to the online zoom call, I contacted the reception service before the day started and was assured it would be sent, it wasn't. I contacted them 2 further times during the day and sent 3 emails at various points requesting that something be done about it. I received no reply from anyone. I then received a text informing me that it had been a pleasure teaching my child, so clearly no-one is taking any notice of who is or isn't turning up and no-one cares one way or the other. It's now 18:22, my son is very disappointed that he's missed an entire day and is not happy about joining a group that has already started. To reiterate, no reply from 3 emails, 3 calls to the posted number and 1 text reply. Let's see if this "review" will cause any kind of response, although a review to a private website that can be ignored and moderated isn't much of a lever is it? I’m so happy, my daughters passed their exams! Thank you to Victoria and her wonderful team! We’re glad we invested in the 11+ program and the classes were really worthwhile because the girls still remember what they learnt and are more confident now. My son attended The Tutoress summer camp last year and am he really enjoyed it. The tutors are energetic and fun, he usually hates studying and can be quite difficult to motivate but Victoria and her team did something amazing with him and he would come home every day with a big smile on his face. He was like a different child! He sat the Haberdash and MT exams and passed. He’s now happy at MT and we’re glad we sent him to the summer camp because he probably would never have passed without it. I think the biggest change was that he wanted to study because of the camp and now he still wants to study and improve. We no longer have to force him. More...

My son was struggling with English for quite some time and I was very worried about his progress. Since he began lessons at The Tutoress Tutorials he has made a lot of progress and has jumped from a literacy level 4b to 5a within two months. My son now reads all the time, enjoys doing his English homework and has become a lot more confident. I would definitely recommend these classes to any parent whose child needs that extra push or is lacking confidence in English. More...
