I attended a wedding and the place was perfect for the event. The gazebo out of which the ceremony was performed is in need of painting but attractively lit and romantic. The house, yards and other buildings are well maintained making it seem as it must have 100 years ago. Ambience galore! More...

I had my wedding at Surrey House recently and I couldn't be more pleased. Sheryl and Carol are very professional and worked with us to make our day special. The food was excellent and the cake turned out exactly how my husband and I wanted. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for future events. Our wedding was perfect here, from the first tour all the way through cleaning up. Carol and Cheryl were spot on and were so very helpful. We communicated through email most of the time but they always followed up with a phone call as well.

My main kudos come from the day of the wedding. First off our cake was AMAZING! Everyone loved the flavor and it looked exactly what I had asked for. We brought veggie and fruit trays to go along with it and these ladies did magnificent arranging it on trays for us even though I said it would be fine to leave it as is. Cheryl also saw that we had a few leaf garlands that I had wanted to hang on the gazebo but did not have time before guests arrived. When we came back in for the reception, she had used them to decorate the mantle in the front room and the food table as well. She didn't have to do that but she went above and beyond to make it the perfect day for us. More...

I had my wedding and reception here this last weekend! PERFECT is the word I would use to describe my experience! Cheryl and Carol were amazing ladies to work with. The food was delicious! I can't tell you enough good things about this venue!! I would do it here again a million times. The ceremony was in the evening and it was magical! The lights in the back, the gazebo, and everything else about it was truly magical!! I had 130 guests and was really worried about space but these ladies made it all work out PERFECTLY!! My husband and I got married at The Surrey House and Gardens in late March 2015, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was even better. Carol and Cheryl were so nice and patient and very comfortable to talk to, unlike other places we looked at for the venue. We had our wedding ceremony outside, the weather was perfect, the reception was in & outside and it worked out perfectly. We had about 115 people attend our wedding but we never felt cramped. The transitioning was done so quickly by the staff the guest didn't even notice. We had the chicken dinner and it was so tasty.The wedding cakes were great, and we had a guitar shaped grooms cake, and fondant lace around our wedding cake, the detailing was great.
