After initially discovering water coming through our ceiling, I found that The Roofers Glasgow were the top rated roofers in our area. I rang John on the Sunday (not really expecting a reply), he arrived early Monday to quote, work started the following Monday, new roof completed be the Thursday. John took time throughout the process to take plenty of photos to show me the extent of the issues, which was reassuring. This is the second time I've used The Roofers Glasgow. Having been very impressed the first time around, I went directly to them to get my old slate roof over my kitchen replaced. My neighbour decided to get hers done too (they are adjoining roofs) so they did both in one go. John and the team are very polite, courteous, friendly and professional. Extremely curtious, took the time to speak to Neighbours before work and explained what was happening ( joint cottages ) always cleaned after the job. John's team provided us with a realistic quotation for removal of a eroded sandstone chimney and some slate repairs. The chimney and roof repair proved more difficult than first assessed but they successfully overcame the issues and completed the job to time and specification. I requested a quote from The Roofers Glasgow having read previous reviews. I was not disappointed. We had a roof leak due to some slipped tiles. From my calling to them coming to fix the roof, was less than 24 hours. Communication was first class. They took photographs on a ipad so that I could see the problem first hand. They did a very comprehensive job, stripping the tiles back before replacing disintegrated roof felt, replacing the tiles and mortar, not to mention removing 2 muck buckets full of bird's nesting materials!! Had problems with water ingress due to a problem with the chimney. The Roofers Glasgow offered to go onto the roof when they arrived in order to take photos of the area and identified the fault. They said that they could repair it there and then and gave me a price. The lad kept me informed and reassured me that it wasn't a major issue and that it would be resolved. He also said that, in the unlikely event of the leak re-occurring, he would come back and have another look. Well i can say its held up brilliant in the recent high winds and heavy rain. I had a leak on a 15 year old flat roof that proved very difficult to trace. I decided to replace the existing felt system with a Rubber system and gabe The Roofers Glasgow a chance to do this work. The team carried out the work very methodically and at all times ensured that there was minimal disruption to us and always cleaned up at the end of each day.
