La Piccola Italia is one of Bournemouth’s longest established restaurants. We first opened our doors on a hot afternoon in May 1981 with the simple idea of serving authentic Italian dishes using the finest ingredients.
Over the last 33 years we’ve made a few changes, seen a few people come and go, but we still remain focused on our opening ideals.

We found this restaurant quite randomly as we were looking for a nice quiet place to have a pizza dinner... and everything was super! Firstly, the staff was very attentive and whenever we needed something, they were already there with a solution. As for the food, we ordered a pizza, small tapas board and a tiramisu. All the portions were big so it was plenty for the two of us. But the most satisfying was the freshness and quality of all the dishes - one of the best dining experiences I have had recently.
