With over 25 years of photography behind me and 25 years of photography still in front of me, I’ve been blessed to have photographed over 15,000 children and more than 6,500 families. If your goal is to find a good photographer that isn't the cheapest but also isn't expensive, then here is your very best value. Experience with kids, experience with all ages. Also experienced with head swaps and digital retouching, as well as composite photography to create unique family images that can't be done in one shot.
Consider me for your next family need. Large groups are also no problem. I use professional soft lighting even outdoors. Watch out for all the faux-tographers out there calling themselves a professional that will show up with a Canon Rebel with their kit lens and no lighting whatsoever, to go with a lack of real experience.

Organizations such as Scouts, Young Marines, and Youth Sports (teams & Individuals) are all part of a specialized volume service that makes up 50% of the annual work by The Photography Specialist. Each event also comes with a custom video promo that can be sent to all the participants so that they know what to expect (shows sample images, behind the scenes images, and gives instructions along with the day and time of the event). The Photography Specialist has 30 years experience doing Event Photography. Whether it is for on location portraits with prints on site, or whether it is for candids of an event such as a corporate function, fundraiser, an anniversary/birthday party, or any type event that requires candids to document the occasion in a way that tells the story of the event, the experience from The Photography Specialist is unmatched. This is especially important if you will need photos using any type of on-camera flash or portrait lighting, as many people that call themselves photographers do not know how to handle flash photography.
Documenting the event in a professional way with the experience that knows how to "tell the story" using unique angles and lenses and lighting to create impact with each and every image, you can expect an album could be put together that will give viewers an inside view of what it was like to really be there. This is a niche service I offer that through my 30 years experience in photographing automobiles on site I am able to professionally light them by use of one monolight stacking multiple exposure, or setting up multiple lights to get it in one shot. Lighting consists of softboxes up to 6' long. Outdoors often requires one light with various tools I use to eliminate reflections in windows. Also the background can be completely removed and authentically replaced with something entirely different.
The end products are often produced on metal prints, playing cards and fully-sublimated T-shirts, all of which I provide, among other products.

Through a partnership I have with an aerial company I am able to offer off-the-shelf aerial imagery of any geographic area in southern California - and beyond. Aerial Wall Murals are a fun alternative to just a framed piece of art. Whether its for a corporate office, a lobby, board room or display in a home office or living room/hallway, these murals that depict the SPECIFIC geographic area you want can be custom-labeled with streets highlighted, entire city boundaries, or even a "You Are Here" to show off where you live. Whatever you would like labeled, can be added. These are commonly delivered as museum mounts but can be on other surfaces as well from metal, to wood, to acrylic, to just simple prints.
