We were nervous leaving our puppy here for her evaluation day but when we picked her up in the evening we realized we worried for nothing! Everyone here is super knowledgeable about dog care which includes grooming, care, training and food/treats. I have been bringing my two rescue cocker spaniels for a while now and it's time to share the experience.  Cody and Jax live for the moment when I say "it's time to go to work" because they know it's time to visit the Pet Palace.  I have a three day a week package and it is worth every penny.  As rescue dogs, I want them to have a wonderful life and the Pet Palace is a big part of that.  It is important to know that the boys are well cared for, have lots of play and attention and most importantly a safe and clean environment surrounded by staff that pay attention.  As with any business, there are new staff at times, but kudos to fact they always seem to find the right people that really care about the animals.   I am truly grateful for everything they do and encourage any pet parent to check out the Pet Palace if you want the absolute best for your fur babies! They have a lot of little add on fees that bug me. $5 for this, $12 for that. Overall I'm pleased with how they treat my cat, but I feel nickeled and dimes whenever I come here. What has really convinced me to try another place is that there seems to have been high turnover lately in the employees and the last few were so disengaged that I didn't get the daily service I signed up for--and was willing to pay for--on my last extended stay. Thank you so much y'all got me in right away after petco couldn't handle my 12 pound menace.  Made us feel at home and really took your time to get to know my dog and me and make sure most of all she was comfy.   Thank you again felt like I was dropping my dog off at my parents house. Well my dog seems to love it and that's the most important part but just felt I needed to mention the staff issues I've come across. It seems like not all of them enjoy working there and it shows. They're rude/short at the counter on drop off and pickup. (But don't get me wrong, there are staff members that seem to LOVE being there). What gets me the most is the mere fact that they are supposed to be open at 7 am. There have now been a handful of times in a very short period where the parking lot is full of dogs WAITING for the staff to show up and it's after 7. Then, when they do show up, they know they're late so they're running up to every dog grabbing them to go inside. I just think that's a little unprofessional to say the least. Show up to work on time. How hard is that?!  We are there prior to 7 to get our dogs in by then so we can show up to our job on time. Whenever you send an email to their reservations, you never get a reply. You're left wondering "did you get my dog's paperwork", "did you get my booking reservation". I shouldn't have to call back to ask if you got it only to hear "oh yea, you're good to go". More...

Pet Palace is our pets home away from home. My husband and I could not be more pleased with this beautiful facility. We are thankful for each and every member of the team at Pet Palace who make sure our fur family members are well cared for. During Hurricane Harvey, we happened to be out of town for work. Pet Palace made sure our animals were fed, and well cared for during the catastrophic flooding in our hometown of Houston. We can't begin to thank them enough for what they did for us during this time. We will never forget how kind, caring and loving they all were during this time. I can not say enough amazing things of this place!!!! They always provide me with info, and updates! Carmichael (my dog) will take him self to the back he loves it so much. We board here as well and when I come pick him up he doesn't ever smell of urine or look like he was mistreated.(The place he used to board before was horrible and this always happened.) the staff here are really helpful and sweet! We left our 2 pups here this weekend and we couldn't have been happier with the service and care they received. My wife and I were a little apprehensive about leaving them as this was a first for all of us. The staff made us feel very comfortable and even called when our boxer suffered a small cut on her nose.We will definitely use their services again soon and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a boarding service to use The Pet Palace for your needs. As always I have nothing but good things to say about the experience we had with your establishment. I, like many pet lovers I'm sure, have anxiety when having to leave my dogs overnight. Well, again, Kaylee (knows us well and is always so helpful and caring towards our dogs) and the other front of house girls welcomed my dogs with big smiles and kind hellos. They were nice to us too of course! But I review again to express the gratitude we have for the consistency of comfort and assurance that the dogs are in good hands when we have to leave them overnight. I also want to point out that when we pick the dogs back up they come home and you can sense that they weren't traumatized during their stay. We walked in at the last minute looking for a place to board our dog and cat over Labor Day weekend. They gave us a tour and we were impressed by how much they show the animals love and care! We did pay extra for some one and one cuddle time and bed time stories. Overall, it wasn't as expensive as some people want to make it sound. Our animals our like our children and they had never been boarded before. So we wanted to make sure they would be well taken care of and made to feel comfortable. In the end, the cost was about the same as Advanced Pet Care, but the accommodations were 1000 times better! Advanced Pet Care wanted almost $300 to keep our animals in cold metal cages and have our dog go potty on a little patch of concrete. This place is amazing!  My dog has serious allergies to include food and skin.  So, if you love your 4 legged family member as I do mine then making sure the place you kennel is very important.  Well, let me tell you the experience Walter (boxer 85lbs) and I had.  First, when you walk thru the front doors the inside is beautiful and clean.  The staff there are extremely courteous and super friendly.  With that said until now the only place Walter ever stayed at was my sister's house.  I trust her she is family.  By the time the girl behind the counter checked us in I started feeling more and more comfortable with leaving him there.  I asked if I could see where he was going to be sleeping etc etc and she took me to see his kennel.  Two words...... Very Clean.....  She made sure that his name was on every special bag of food.  Then the groomer came out to consult with me about his skin allergies.   As you can imagine he can't just be bathed with any type of shampoo.   I opted for this blueberry facial because  his face is usually pink around his nose.   When I picked him up he was happy, smelled wonderful and the pink that was so bright looked much lighter due to the blueberry facial. Plus they have the greatest treats.  I got several treats for Walter and I will say rhis if he saw the bag they were in he would come sit in front of me until he got one.  So they must be super yummy to him.  Also, they have a dog pool which is so cool for the dogs in the summer months.  I hope this review was helpful and if you ever see Walter and I say hi!  By the way you can't miss Walter he is a Black Boxer and you don't see those everyday. I highly recommend The Pet Palace.  Sky Guy has been going there for years (he's almost 6 so this review is long overdue!) and it's been his home-away-from-home since he was 12 weeks old .  He goes for day care several days a week and we always board him there when we go away.  Everyone spoils him and treats him like he was their own - he bolts from the car when we get there and gives everyone kisses before heading off to play.  I'm nothing but his driver to his doggie all-inclusive!  I can't say enough about the fabulous staff - too many to name and I'd hate to leave anyone out - and the owners, Darrell & Angela, are very caring, hands-on, and family-oriented so don't be surprised to see a grandbaby or two hanging out at the front desk!  Great food, treat and fun stuff selection, too!  Can't say enough; I consider them part of my family. Pet Palace is the first kennel that we have found that can handle our dogs. We love that they are completely honest with us, and very knowledgable on certain health/skin/diet issues we may have! I take my Great Dane,  Moonshine,  here once a week to get some heavy duty play time and the dog is passed out in the car on the way home!  They know her by name and they are always nice,  professional and often give us details from her play day.  My dog is HAPPY when she is dropped off here. I always board my dogs here. The VIP suites are totally worth the additional cost. Some of the folks at the register aren't the most organized, but the people who handle the dogs seem on top of it. Nice facility.

The Pet Palace is a top-notch boarding/training/daycare facility. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and there does not seem to be a large turn-over rate. The "playground" where the dogs play is great, complete with a pool, which my dog LOVES! The staff that oversee the daycare are always busy interacting and playing with the dogs. Our dog completed their basic training class, so the staff continues to re-inforce what she has learned. We recently had a tragedy in our home involving our "babies" and the Pet Palace was there for us - whatever we needed, they provided with compassion and comfort. More...

My furry guy just loves this place! He goes to daycare a few times a week and has sooo many friends, both dogs and people. The staff is fabulous - friendly, fun and genuinely happy to be there. I drive from Galveston to Houston and it's such a convenient location - easy off, easy on I45. Buddy attended another day care in the past...every time I took him there..he wanted to go home with me, he did not want to stay. When I drop him off at Pet Palace...he can't wait to go in. He loves it there!! Everyone knows him by name and allthough they sometimes forget to give me a progress report. The only report I need is IN my dog, he's happy, he's tired (cause he had fun all day) Don't base your choice of daycare completely on these reviews. In their own ways, our dogs talk to us!! I take my two schnauzers here for grooming about every 2 months. The price is not too bad, but I am comparing only to New York prices since I moved from there a few months ago. Around 100 bucks for full grooming (nails , cut, teeth cleaned and anals cleansed) with hair cut and wash. I do think that the boarding is pretty steep. I pay less in daycare for my child. More...

This is a fabulous facility. I have taken my five dogs there for years. They are absolutley wonderful individuals who will do everything possible to assure your dogs are in the very best of care.
I will warn people reading this that they have a few crazy ex-employees who are trying their hardest to sabbotage these people and their business. I would not let these crazy people ruin my judgement - in fact I would tour the facility unannouced and ask for references. It is sad that these employees that were dismissed have not found another job or something more beneficial to do than cyber attacks on people and their businesses. More...

We always took our dogs here until we moved to Florida 4 years ago. Was surprised to see any negative reviews. But since our experiencs in the past were always so gret we figured we at least owed it to ourselves and our dogs to find out if this place really did go down hill. I am so glad that we did go back and didn't listen to those reviews. It is just as wonderful as ever. In fact we recognized several of our favorite staff faces that were here when we lived here before including the owners which we found to be still very hands on with their day to day business.. We just love them and glad to be able to use them again now that we are back in town. I told my new neighbors about them and found out that they already use Pet Palace and would not take their dogs anywhere else.! I don't think it could be any better except if they were open all day on Saturday.... Love this place. More...

I was referred to this place by one of the owners- she actually sold us our home. I am so glad she did as I don't know if I would have found it since it is off the beaten path. But it is great and so close to I 45 & Dixie - easy access for both of us. We use the day care for our both our dogs occasionally but mostly when traveling for extended periods of time. We didn't think we would find a place we liked as much as the one in Dallas. So glad we found this place, it s the best and so are the owners. :-) More...
