Just had my second lunch at the Palais Tea Room and once again it did not disappoint. Went with my Mum and she loves to look at the Vintage Decor, reminds her of years gone by. The food was excellent and the cake to die for top marks in that department. Have gone to too many "tea rooms" where the cakes look amazing but have no taste, flavour or substance. Like I said The Palais Tea room certainly does not lack in that area. The staff are always really lovely and service is always with a smile. Will be back for my fix when I am next up in Dundee, which should be around in 8 weeks time xxx More...

Have been here a couple of times and brought my daughter here last week. We enjoyed the fresh sandwiches with salad. Have not tried the cakes as yet but they look delicious! The tea rooms have a vintage theme which is quite nostalgic with food being served on vintage plates + glasses...always busy and not much space but would certainly recommend a visit if you are in Dundee. Having been at the Palais Tearoom a few times I decided it would be a great gift for my 80 year old neighbour to get him afternoon tea here. As it was his wifes birthday a few weeks later they decided to go on her birthday (yesterday). Last night they could not compliment the staff, service and quality of food highly enough. The staff were told it was Evelyns 80th and made even more of a fuss of her. Its now their new "cuppie and cake " place to visit. Thanks again Palais staff. More...

We had an excellent time at The Palais Tea Room for a Hen Party. Available for a private function, we booked for 21 guests and Nicki and her staff looked after us from start to finish (and before during organising). They went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely afternoon tea, and did so very discreetly we hardly knew they were there! The food was delicious - sandwiches, pies, scones with cream and jam, and homemade cakes. Everyone had a fab time. Thank you Nicki and your lovely ladies!! x More...
