I recently spent a wonderful evening here for my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner. We had the place to ourselves, including the outdoor patio on either side of the entrance way steps as well as the bar. The food and drinks were great and the service was impeccable, and it was a nice change to observe the street scene from above. David Napier's White House Catering is fantastic - we have used them for a wide range of events - They just blew it away with incredible staff and service for our nonprofit fundraiser with snacks alcohol, and earlier this year they did a classy catered breakfast with us, and in the past I've seen their impressive work catering bag lunches for thousands. Great conversion of older bldg into bar/restaurant. Nice happy hour food spread, great service at the bar from Jessica. This place does a lot of exclusive private events so be sure to check if it is open. Generally open on Tuesdays.

Fantastic job! White House Catering supplied the food for our recent 50th anniversary party, and everything was delicious! During our planning stage Bill had great suggestions and customized the meal the way we wanted. We were able to taste test the main entrees, enjoyed meeting with their chef Chris and especially loved his scalloped potatoes. We felt White House Catering was a cut above other caterers we checked. White House Catering did and excellent job providing the food for our rehearsal and reception. They helped us every step of the way when planning our menus and were available to us at the drop of a dime. I loved working with everyone at White House Catering and Old City Bar is a beautiful place for a rehearsal as well! You all recently catered a 50th wedding anniversary party for my sister-in-laws parents. It was held at her parents' house and the food looked, smelled and tasted wonderful. I liked the punch that they had set up and "mini bar" . I was impressed at how accommodating they were with making appetizers and fixing drinks, especially considering there were only 2 employees and maybe 20 of us.
I haven't been to many catered events, but, I will you all in mind if I ever have one done. More...

We can't say enough good things about Old City Bar and White House Catering. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Not only did David and his amazing staff at White House Catering cater our daughters' out-of-town wedding receptions in 2009 and 2016 with delicious food and great service, we chose the Old City Bar as the venue for our son's rehearsal dinner in May 2017. David's event planners were so easy to work with and made suggestions for all the events, and we tweaked each menu until it was perfect. Each email I sent was answered promptly, and I was never made to feel that I was asking too many questions. Our guests raved about the food at each event and about the beautiful setting at Old City Bar. I don't know of any other caterer I would trust for such important events. To top it off, David Napier is just an all-around nice guy who truly cares about his customers. I highly recommend this business. More...

White House Catering took care of both the rehearsal dinner and my daughter's wedding reception this past weekend. The food was fantastic. David Napier was wonderful to work with and their staff did a great job on site. Rory, the bar tender, was outstanding. Great service, price and food! David the owner is wonderful to work with. Andrew who led the crew did a great job. It was almost 100 degrees, and they all had a wonderful, happy attitude.
