The deli is packed with all good things, something for everyone's tastes, things maybe you wouldn't purchase on a normal shop but good food and delicacies cost more so although you may think you're paying a little extra you will be back for more when you taste just how good everything is, worth the extra pennies for good food. This year we went to the Norfolk Deli the first time after all the years we‘ve been travelling to Hunstanton. This place is nearly perfect if you are into good food: having focused on local products (from Norfolk and England) you will of course find good stuff from a lot of other European countries. Spend some time to walk around and take a look at all the lovely stuff to eat and drink.Have some time? I have been to a lot of delis but there is something special about this place hidden away a short distance from the Hunstanton Coastline. First visit was last week just for a browse but I ended up buying a takeaway sandwich from their extensive menu, a delicious rhubarb cider and halva which I've not been able to get hold of for years. I often don't review places in tourist hotspot areas as they end up being good for where they are. However, this place is a massive exception. Surrounded by lots of expensive and fairly generic restaurants, this place is a true gem.

From first to last interaction the staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful, and good - all a credit to the business.

We'd elected to sit in the area downstairs in the hope we would want to stay for desert - and that was a very good call. It's a fairly small place, but there's enough space and there's high chairs available for younger children.

The food was all absolutely delicious, and there was nothing we'd want to improve about any of it. Proper quality ingredients are clearly used and this reflects in what you see, smell and taste. Sandwiches etc. were great, and they happily did a half size portion for our toddler.

The coffees were very nice, as were all the puddings we had.

And the final nice surprise was that the bill was very reasonable.

We've already recommended a visit to family, and will definitely make a point to return anytime we need food in hunstanton. More...
