As part of a 6 month placement in Abu Dhabi, my employer (White & Case LLP) recommended learning Arabic through the Nassra Method. This has been an exceptional journey so far. The website is easy to follow, anticipates all questions and provides a huge variety of conversation opportunities. I am learning at a quick pace and enjoying my time with Omar Nassra too. Omar Nassra gave me Arabic lessons in April – June 2014. I found Omar an outstanding teacher and achieved more in the limited time available to me than I had expected. I learned the alphabet, and am now able to read and write; we covered some basic grammar; I gained a reasonable vocabulary (perhaps 300 – 400 words) in areas relevant to my forthcoming job as Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Riyadh and to life there; and I feel I have an understanding of the way in which Arabic works – sentence construction etc. All in all, this should help considerably as I assimilate the culture in Saudi Arabia, and gives me sound framework for further study in-country. Omar Nassra was patient and clear, understanding my needs and pitching the lessons appropriately. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a teacher of spoken business Arabic. More...

I studies Modern Standard Arabic before and I found it hard to learn and not useful to communicate with native Arabic speaker on a daily basis as no one in the Arabic world use Modern Standard in day to day life.
