Stopped by for lunch. Lovely pub , welcoming staff. Food was great. We had steak with home made fries that were sublime. Dessert was superb. Great place.

Good pub food and a few beer/cider options. Landlord has a abrupt dry sense of humour which we warmed to and the landlady was having a bad day but apart from that it was a good visit.

Really excellent quality meal. The starter of calamari was excellent and the pork main and steak mains were also very tasty (and both of us are foodie people). That combined with the fact that dogs are allowed in the bar area and the publican Shaun was an extremely warm host, and no amount of tweaks to our final food combinations were too much effort, made for a perfect start to our long weekend.
