We had him DJ our oldest son becoming a Bar Mitzvah in 2019, and he was great!
So, when our second son was slated to become a Bar Mitzvah this year, we hired Tuese again, and he was great again.

I hired DJTeuse for a family reunion. I found him to be incredibly easy to work with. He was intuitive to the crowd mood and has a professional set-up. I didn’t think that the fact that he provides a video was going to be that big of a deal but it turned out to be a real plus. Everyone loved it! I would definitely call him back again. One suggestion is to add more world music to your catalog such as Marc Antoine, Michael Zanabili, and Yanni. Also, maybe list songs by genre/artist into a binder. More...

We LOVED having DJTuese for our wedding night reception! He was extremely kind and pleasant to work wtih and listened to all my ideas. I was originally not going to have a DJ, but decided to book one at the last minute and I am so grateful that DJTuese stepped in so quickly. This week I had DJ Tuese play a Karaoke Night for my 70th birthday and would recommend his services without hesitation. From our first contact, he was extremely professional. All emails and calls were promptly returned. He even met me at the venue to go over the setup. He was easy to work with, following each of my suggestions, and contributing a few of his own based on his vast experience. He showed up early, and was ready to play before the required time. His equipment was matched to the size of the room, and volume was never a problem, he’s a pro who sized up his audience and delivered just what I hoped for. We hired DJTUESE for our wedding that was supposed to happen in fall of 2019 but we all know how that went. He was more than willing to work with the changes. A whole year later and he was still on top of communication with us and helping us plan our day accordingly. He sent a very helpful list for us to fill to help the music choice process and also was so helpful by being our MC for the night. He really went above and beyond expectations for a DJ & MC! DJ2e was a great save for me. It was my 50th birthday celebration and I decided to hire a DJ a week before the event. He was truly responsive to my needs and worked within my budget. It was a last minute thing for me but he wanted music from me for the night and artist that I liked. I was sending him songs and singers whenever I could. That did not bother him. I even put together a script for my friend that was the MC and DJ2e worked with her so that there were no issues. One of my friends surprised me with a song and she had worked with DJ2e to get it done. She told me he suggested a version of the song to use and it worked out better for her. I was so impressed with him. He never complained. He was on time, he worked hard, he talked with my guest and was extremely friendly. Also, he gave me Karaoke that night at no additional charge. This really made my dream come true that night. I had asked three people to sing but then was going to cancel it because I did not want to deal with a dress rehearsal. When I told DJ2e about it, he was more than willing to work with my friends to do it base don the script. He was on cue for the entire event. I felt he made sure my 50th was a night to remember. I usually don't write reviews but Tuese went above and beyond for my wedding. He was on top of everything. From visiting the ceremony and reception sites prior to the wedding rehearsal to announcing the wedding party entrance. DJ Tuese did all of this and was very easy to work with. His music and ability to read the crowd made the people in my wedding dance and have so much fun. I definitely recccomend Tuese as a DJ. He really loves what he does and cares. DJ2e is great for karaoke. The company I work for in Sacramento hired him for our office holiday party in December 2019 that featured karaoke after dinner. It was such a pleasure working with him that I feel the need to write a positive review. I was given the responsibility for organizing the singers and songs before the party since I sang a lot of karaoke in the San Francisco Bay area before I moved to Sacramento. DJ2e had more than 100,000 karaoke songs in numerous music genres such as r&b, pop, top 40, hip hop, rap, country, rock, disco, oldies, reggae, and Latin. He suggested sending him a list of singers and their songs a few days before the office party to make sure all of the songs would be available to the singers. He showed up right on time to the party on a rainy night and kept the music and singing going all night long until the party ended at 11 PM. And last but not least, Kudos to our DJ Tuese, whom we had used in last years Event. He did a great job at that gig but he really outdid himself this year. He had everyone dancing up a storm and to see a bunch of Seniors behaving like they were 50 years younger was definitely a sight to see.  I'm surprised that we didn't have to call the paramedics to pick up and revive some of our guests. I knew there was a reason why we had him back this year. His song selections were right on and had our guests dancing all through the night right up until the end.  He was also very accommodating with my Music game of Name That Tune and performing MC duties for determining our Male and Female Winners of Best Costumes. DJ'ed our 50th wedding anniversary. This was our first experience using a DJ. We found Tuese to be an outstanding choice. He patiently accommodated all of our questions and desires about the entire procedure . He graciously played all of the special songs we requested and others of the same genre and time frame. At our request, he adjusted the music so that conversation was comfortable during the hors d'oeuvres and dinner. And after dinner he played music as we danced until the party ended. In addition, he took videos of almost everyone who danced and posted them on the internet. All in all a terrific experience. He has our strongest recommendation. I can't imagine anyone better.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing starts at $300 the first hour and $100 each additional hour for basic parties. I also offer packages starting at $750 for weddings which include 4 hours, disco-laser-strobe lights, fog machine, and wireless microphone. Packages can be customized and priced to fit your needs, call me for a consultation. My uplight pricing is 6 uplights for $200 with $25 each additional.

Receive a playlist of songs that my clients puts together. 3. Get program from client as to when to play specific songs and make announcements. 4. Play music that gets my client's party dancing the night away. 5. Pay the remaining 50% balance at the end of the event.

Last night a DJ saved my life...OK, maybe it wasn't last night, and maybe he didn't quite save my life, but DJ Tuese REALLY made my wife's birthday party special!  I found him on Yelp (tons of great reviews) and he was super-responsive, very informative and even provided video clips of some of his events.  On top of all of that, his rates were incredibly competitive, and he could even arrange a photo booth for our event.  I was sold.  Leading up to the event, I probably contacted him a bit much (sorry DJ Tuese) with thoughts as to music, program, logistics, etc., and he was so patient and accommodating.  Fast forward to night of, he (along with his photo booth provider) got there early to check out the space and set up, and just chat with me about last minute arrangements.  Obviously, he was most amazing during the event itself.  He knew to keep it low key during cocktail hour, so that our guests could mingle and catch up, was a great emcee during the actual "program" and then did an INCREDIBLE job of ramping up the hype and energy as the night progressed.  Our guests hit the dance floor and had an amazing time.On top of the being a great DJ, he is truly a good dude.  Super nice.Thanks DJ Tuese!  See you at our next event.  :) More...

DJ Tuese was awesome! He was the DJ for our wedding on 6/29/19.  He was very kind and professional throughout the whole booking process. We contacted him about 3 months in advance, and he made the whole process so easy.  The day of was wonderful, he played great music and everyone loved him! He could sense if the crowd wasn't really feeling the song and he changed it immediately.  But that only happened 1 time that I remember because his music playlist was great. I would definitely recommend him!My main priority was keeping the music "family friendly" because we had a lot of young cousins who attended. So I didn't want any music with the explicit lyrics, and it was no problem for him to play the "clean" version. He has a variety music and played all the hits. He kept the party going and everyone had a fun time! He was so patient with me too the week before the wedding, I had emailed him a few times and he was so responsive and nice! DJ Tuese was fantastic at my teenage daughter's birthday party. I thought the 16-year olds might be shy, but thanks to DJ Tuese they were all dancing and having fun. My daughter and friends wanted to be able to give song requests, which Tuese was fine with. Of course the music is most important, but almost equally important was Tuese's polite professionalism. He reached out himself before the party to ask if my daughter wanted particular songs on the playlist and showed up early to the event. He set up his equipment, lights and fog machine (big hit with the kids) well before guests showed up. We also received a video after the event. As others have said, DJ Tuese was kind, friendly and very responsive to emails. We used DJ Tuese for my daughter Bat Mitzvah on Dec 22nd. We were looking for a DJ that was willing to make a few announcements (dinner, photo booth, dessert table, etc) and take control of the dance floor. DJ Tuese did all of this and so much more!We did a search through Yelp then came across DJ Tuese. The reviews were outstanding so we decided to give him a shot. DJ Tuese was super responsive and very accommodating with our requests. My wife is very organized and emailed a detailed timeline/agenda which didn't scare him away :). He met with us at the event location several weeks prior to the date and offered suggestions on how to set up the DJ booth and dance floor. My daughter created a 30 song request list which he incorporated into the play list. DJ Tuese also added several group dance songs to get everybody out on the dance floor. He also has several DJ style lights, lasers and a fog machine which created a terrific atmosphere. My daughter thought he was awesome and my wife and I were very happy with his services. DJ Tuese knows how to get things going and keep the kids engaged. Many guests commented on how well the DJ did by playing music that both the kids and adults could enjoy. Tuese is simply amazing! He genuinely cares and knows exactly what he's doing. Rest assured, with his years of experience, we were at ease the entire time. We can't thank him enough. Everyone kept telling us it was one of the best weddings they've ever attended. We owe it all to Tuese! His music was all the feels and super beeeeautiful. It embodied excitement, joy and happiness. He knows how to get everyone on the dance floor. People kept telling us how good the DJ was! By the time it was open dance, the entire dance floor was filled. People even started extending the dance floor onto the carpet, so they could have room to dance. That's when you know the music is good. We literally had everyone dancing, from the kids to the seniors. No one wanted the music to stop. Tuese comes prepared and won't let you down! I don't give many 5star reviews on Yelp but Tuese is amazing! My wife and I hired him to DJ and MC our wedding at The Mountain Terrace this October and he did a fantastic job. He arrived on time and set everything up quickly. We paid extra for uplighting and he really nailed it with the perfect placement around the venue. Our wedding cake and bar area looked amazing with the purple and blue uplights. And of course, he did a fantastic job with the music and his sound system and had our guests dancing all night long.
