Dancing there was amazing. Clean fun, we left at midnight although the band began at 1030. A definite return for us is in order. Small studio space however, but seemed to be perfect for the numbers. Cover charge was very reasonable given the live band. We also observed that there was a great community there. People actually enjoyed seeing one another and dancing with one another, the men also respected the married couples or couples clearly dancing solely together. Unique experience, especially in Sarasota for night life. Wonderful date opportunity and night. No pressure Latin dancing, we witnessed beginners to clearly trained professional with their official dancing shoes and those who make the salsa look like a martial art! It was certainly art! If you're curious, try it out, just be aware that the "crowd" does not arrive until around 1030-11:30 if you like the energy of other people, otherwise get there early and have the entire dance floor. Food was great, so we're most of the servers. Outside seating has a nice atmosphere looking out at the rest of the stores in the area. Unfortunately we had the bartender serving us who seemed less than thrilled to deal with our table. We asked for recommendations and he didn't seem to care to give an opinion. We went here in November 2016 and holy smokes their food is phenomenal!!! We found this place by accident and wandered on in to find a cozy, romantic italian cuisine piano bar. We got to be serenaded to a gentleman playing jazz music at a piano. Their pizza is to die for and their ravioli was top notch. We also indulged in some dessert and were not disappointed. The staff was so nice and even the manager stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied. Our waiter was on point and was great at making menu suggestions and even suggesting things in the area to do (as we were just visiting). He also was on the ball refilling our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Anytime I'm in Sarasota I definitely plan to come back here to partake in their awesome atmosphere, food, and service. More...
