The learning environment is spacious and comfortable. I take Italian Conversation and I find that it is structured perfectly for me. My knowledge of the Italian language is quite basic but I find this to be the perfect setting to grow confidence and accelerate my conversation skills. My 8 year old daughter is loving her maths tutoring with Jenny at The Learning Curve. She's gone from thinking she's rubbish at maths, with lots of tears trying to get to grips with school work, to having the confidence to apply the methods Jenny's teaching her and a much better understanding of numbers. We contacted Jenny just 6 weeks before by son's GCSE English resit, after realising what college was providing was not going to help him.
Jenny quickly invited him in for an assessment, identifying exactly what he needed help with as well as listening to my concerns. She saw him on a one to one basis weekly for 5 sessions leading up to the exam, focussing on the exact areas he needed support with, using past papers as practice.
She really helped with his confidence and he got the C he needed. I would recommend Jenny to anyone due to the totally personalised service she can offer.

French for Beginners is the ideal way to get back into French. I did French to A-Level over 40 years ago, and wanted to refresh my knowledge. This course is 2 hours per week of discussion and exercises, and is interactive. No learning lists of vocabulary and conjugations if verbs by heart here. Jenny is good at knowing what her class want, and adapting to suit their needs. This course lasts a year, and I intend to do the Intermediate course next year. More...

My son has today just finished his time at the Learning Curve where he has had tuition for A-Level English Language. Jen has been totally professional, approachable and above all honest. Jen began tutoring my son herself but then advised me she had got so far with him that her skills allowed and had sourced another teacher for him who she felt could really push him to the next level. I appreciated Jen's honest approach, many companies could have easily continued to take my money! My son has found the lessons to be a great help to him and I am very grateful for The Learning Curve for giving him that extra boost. Hopefully it will show in his results in August.
