I am a Qualified Cake Decorator. I have been running my business for almost 4 years and have just recently expanded my business to include a School of Cake Decorating and have moved premises to meet my new needs.
We offer a wide range of celebration cakes from simple gluten free Victoria sponges, delicious diabetic cakes, beautiful detailed wedding cakes and individual celebration cakes.

I have had 2 cakes made by Sam now and they have both been lovely.
I make a good sponge myself but don't do the decorating part so was very fussy on how the sponge would be.
I was so, so pleased with both cakes. The sponge was lovely and moist and just a perfect amount of jam filling. The actual cake decorating is superb.
I would certainly recommend 'the lady bakes cakes' a great all round service and everything went very smoothly from ordering to delivery. Many thanks :-)

The freedom to create, the individuality of each cake I make and meeting and chatting to every new customer
What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for creating and decorating cakes. Tomorrow is never promised to us so I thought I would just grab the bull by the horns and go for it! I have never regretted a single moment. I love it!
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a perfectionist in everything I do, so my customers know they will only get the very best I can do from me. Unless specifically asked, I won't make the same cake twice. I like each customer to have their very own unique cake.
