Friendly, welcoming staff and lovely choice of cakes, biscuits and food. Today I went in with my kids and they decorated a cupcake each, previously I've taken cake away but will definitely be going back to eat in next time. xx

Fantastic afternoon tea in a cozy, lowkey cafe with friendly staff. We went for high tea and enjoyed bottomless Yorkshire brew with finger sandwiches. The pastries were delicious, the scones warm, the clotted cream thick, the jam sweet and tart. Our server was attentive. The place was quit in the late afternoon. A few customers popped in around 2 pm. It's a relaxed place with a mishmash of crockery, which is delightful.Reasonably priced. Kid friendly. Clean. Absolutely fantastic experience. Food was great, service was very attentive and the hosts were very accommodating towards us. Would recommend as a venue for a medium group to celebrate an event. Everyone enjoyed themselves today for my sisters baby shower, there were 25 of us and I can confidently say everyone was looked after!!! Definitely will be returning for afternoon tea and lunch. I had my baby shower here a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect. Nothing was too much trouble on the day and the sandwiches, cakes, scones and tea were just lovely. My friend introduced me to The Kitchen today and I can honestly say I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else again for an afternoon tea! I’ve eaten at many ‘top’ hotels and afternoon tea places and this is, hand on heart, the best. The atmosphere is so friendly, the owners even more lovely and the food is so fresh and incredibly reasonably priced. Plenty of choice for meat eaters, veggies and vegans alike!
