I can not say enough about my experience at The K-9 Center. John Browne and his staff are amazing. When other trainers said they couldn’t help this dog and walked away John reassured me that if I was willing to put work in that we could help this dog. I’m affiliated with A-Team Elite rescue and adopted a dog from them and now volunteer. Cindy Droogmans saved a 5 year old female Malinois with dog aggression issues. She was very stressed at the rescue in the kennel and would be hard to be adopted if we didn’t get her help. I asked Cindy to let me take her to K-9 center. John Browne helped me with my 12 year old Malinois when he was a puppy and knew he could help. The female Malinois was boarded at the center and I went three times a week for private and group sessions. She was well taken care of there and was happy. Amanda posted pictures of Alona on their social media and exactly a month later was adopted into a loving home. The family continues training Alona at the K-9 Center. Success and happy ending. Our journey started about 10 years ago with our bulldog Rocky. We have used their training and boarding services for both our dogs. We are now in the process of adapting another dog. Our dog Snowball stayed for 2 and 1/2 weeks for on site training and boarding. I had my doubts as to how well she would do. My kids and I joined her about eight times during her stay so we could be trained as well. Even after we brought her home, we continue to go out about 3 to 4 times a week for more training and re-enforcement. John and Amanda, you are the best. I appreciate your patience and commitment. This is by far an amazing place to board my Molly . When I walk in there's always a smiling face and staff waiting for her and everytime I pull up to the K9 Center I watch Molly get excited and her tail wags and she can't wait to have fun away from home. My German Shepard Max was very aggressive and protective of his family and we went through 5 different trainers before we met John at the k9 center. We immediately saw a change just after a few sessions and he is now able to have people pet him and he is able to go to the vet without a problem. Knowing John for over 25 years and buying three dogs from him. I get the bad reviews however you have to understand this world. This is a serious dog guy, that runs his business like an ex marine. Owning some really hard dogs, I worked my butt off to train my dogs with John.  Two dogs I have in fact had to leave at the center, but I have had no fear in trusting John.  This is not a foo-foo guy with a foo-foo approach to dog training.  I find it sad that people who have never worked with this place are able to give reviews. Thank You John Browne and the warm and caring staff at The K-9 Center. I took my 3 dogs, an 8 year old Italian Greyhound and my 2 doberman puppies age 7 months and 9 weeks old in for boarding last week, while I soaked up the hot Florida sun. I met John a few years prior to purchasing a female Malinois from him in '94.  All along the 13 1/2 years of my Bella's life I would on again off again frequent  his establishment for advice, refresher training, products and fresh dog food.  I have never met a man more dedicated to the proper, healthy breeding and higher level obedience and agility training of the K-9 species in my life.  For any of you that have left negative reviews you clearly have fallen victim of a miscommunication, misunderstanding or, more likely, have no business owning a dog in the first place.  My suggestion is go back to the shelter and get yourself a "Free Dog" so you can feel like a hero and get your training at pet-co where you also belong. Thank you K9 Center for the pictures with Santa,they came out so good. Just another service provided by John and his staff. If your looking to get a puppy or gifts for your pets K9 Center is the place to go. John helped us with a dog we thought we would have to put down because he was so aggressive and 7 years later we still have Willie and continue to take advantage of the lifetime training. For Christmas I bought my dog a new collar that was made by John and the quality is amazing. I also bought things for my granddog Kingston. got my dog from here at age 6 months back in 2008, we put her down on may 17th following breast cancer complications, jasmine was almost 9 and we cremated her today, her 9th birthday would've been may 31st, the sweetest most beautiful dog i've ever met, and recently gave a home to a rottweiler from the same father and she's a sweetheart just like our jazz was. kind, passionate staff and beautiful dogs. bless you k-9 center. After losing one of our dogs, we decided to get a puppy. We purchased an 8 week old male English Bull Terrier. When we brought him home, he immediately started to fight with our other dogs. Being as he was a puppy, we thought he would out grow it but after 4 months, nothing was helping. My neighbor suggested the K-9 Center. We took him for an evaluation and was told that training would help his aggressive behavior. I mentioned to the owner that I was considering putting him down and he told me to consider training before taking such drastic measures. After private and group lessons, he seemed to be getting better. We still thought that at some point we were probably still going to have to do something drastic with him . We knew we couldn't re-home him he was too unpredictable. After a couple months we started to see improvement and continued with the training. Now, we have a dog we are able to take out in public and even camping. He is well adjusted and I have the K-9 Center to thank. So thank you John and staff for all that you have done. More...

I have been to over 5 different trainers and training centers with my Siberian Husky. I notice a decline in her training and more aggressive behavior. Finallly I came to the right facility. Mr. John Browne is the only trainer that knows the breed and all breeds. He also uses his expertise in training dogs by each dogs personality so they get individualized training which is much needed (not like other training facilities which every dog is trained the same way because not every dog is the same. I was recommened to John by a friend who purchased a beautiful Belgian Shepard from him. His training is right on and makes sense. I had a few weeks of individual lessons and just started group and everyone notices a big difference in my dog. Thanks for getting me and my dog back on track. More...

This is the place where I got my start I have been involved with the Rottweiler breed since 1992. I have owned 20 dogs personally and have trained about 60 dogs professionally. My involvement with the breed helped me to rise to national prominence as the North East Regional Director of The American Rottweiler Verein at a time when it was the 2nd or 3rd largest Rottweiler club in America. I took my GSD to the k-9 center in Ronkonkoma. John, the head trainer, gave us, me and my dog, a free evaluation. He listened to all my concerns and explained how we could fix them. After about a half hour of Q & A I could have walked away and had a better relationship with my dog for free!I am currantly going through the lifetime guarantee training program. I am talking about John Browne at the K-9 Center in Ronkonkoma. I brought my 2 yo GSD there because he was not listening to me and he growled at one of my 3 boys. John had us come down with my dog and he spent about 40 minutes with us evaluating him. There was no charge for this. He answered all of our questions. We did sign up for the training course and he worked with me and my family with my dog. The difference is amazing and I swear my dog is happier, we're never mad at him anymore.
