Ive been having therapy with the wonderful Di since March. Di picked me up as a weeping mess, but her compassion and wonderful personality as well as her wonderful massages bought me back to a place of happiness. I cannot express how amazing it is to receive these treatments when your body and mind are being battered from chemotherapy. I have finished my treatment now, but will continue to see Di as it is worth every penny in my opinion. This is an incredible charity and I look forward to raising money for them in the future. The Harmony Therapy Trust provides a need to support clients and their carers who have Cancer or other life altering illness through free holistice therapy. They support these people at a time they need that caring voice and a therapy which helps them feel relaxed and beneficial to them. The therapists are a wonderful group of people and everyone who is involved with the charity do so because they care and want to help in some way. This charity needs to continue raising funds to continue their amazing work, through people arranging fundraising events, by donations from individuals, groups of people and businesses and through people volunteering their time. The money comes in and goes out again so that people can benefit from the help the charity gives. No one is paid a wage (only the therapist for treatments they give at a lower rate than they normally receive) no one has a charity car to use, they use their own car and the only little bit of money that is used is for admin and marketing. This charity is important to us all as we all know someone with Cancer or other life altering illnesses. So this is why I have awarded them five stars for excellence. They make a difference. More...
