What do you love most about your job?
Providing a space in which people unlock and experience their potential.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started asa volunteer counsellor with waves . I
went on to run support groups and deliver psycho education programmes for people recovering from domestic abuse. Within these roles i was always amazed by the resilience shown by my clients and the inate ability they had to overcome adveristy and make positive changes in their lives. The development of a trusting therapeutic relaionship was instrumental within this work.
I also worked with people displaying abusice behaviours in their relationships, offering hollistic anger managment sessions in which i support clients to take responsibility for their behaviour, undertsand their response to emotional vulnerabilty and become more attuned to their bodies response to conflict. From this they work on developing non violent ways to be within their relationships. The main focus of this work is based around the value of maintaining a respectful way of being.
Doing this work has been a fabulous experince and i am now offering a continuation of these services privately. I am also going back to my person centred roots and offering one to one counselling
