Lizzy did the flowers for our September wedding and they were fabulous. Her entire service, from start to finish was brilliant. We don't really know anything about flowers but Lizzy guided us through everything so that we ended up with flowers that were perfect for us and our day. My bouquet was so beautiful that I nearly began crying when I saw it! My husband went for a pocket square floral arrangement instead of a traditional buttonhole, which was so gorgeous and interesting to look at. Where to start ... I spent a long time searching for the right florist for our wedding. With my Mum being an avid gardener, it was also super important to her too. So when we came across Lizzy and The Flower Story we knew we’d found everything we were looking for. Lizzy was incredible from the start - seamless communication, friendly and approachable, and willing to share her amazing ideas whilst listening and understanding our preferences. We didn’t have a dominant theme or colour scheme for our wedding - we just wanted the flowers to be natural, vibrant and colourful. And my goodness Lizzy delivered. Her flowers simply brought the barn to life and were more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. She even took on a slightly quirky request of preparing a flower arrangement using our hiking boots and it was incredible ! Lizzy was amazing from beginning to end. We were planning our UK wedding from abroad so we didn't have a lot of opportunities to meet in person. She met with us at very short notice and from then on everything went so smoothly. We didn't have very specific ideas but Lizzy knew what we wanted before we did. We had a family party the day after the ceremony and it was no issue to hold on to the vases for a few extra days, the flowers looked sensational at both parties. The Flower story/ Lizzy is a delight to work with. She is extremely professional and knowledgable in her field and just 'gets' your vision. In fact, I think she envisioned what I wanted even better than I did! She listens to exactly what you are looking for from your flowers and builds up the most amazing creations. I can't tell you how exactly you transferred my vision with colours and feel. The colours were absolutely stunning and your choice of foliage just fit for a princess.

Lizzy's arrangements speak for themselves, beautiful and breathtaking! There was no doubt after finding The Flower Story that we needed to look elsewhere.
I enjoyed the whole process from brief to reality, I will never forget when our flowers arrived the morning of our wedding.
Lizzy didn't just exceed my expectations (which can be difficult) but took away all the stresses I felt on the day in terms of placement and styling. The flower girls headpieces!! Amazing.
One in a million. My flowers made my venue. So sad I'll never get to hold my bouquet again.

All I can say is AMAZING! Lizzy did our wedding flowers. We visited lizzy in her home for our first consultation and she immediately understood what we wanted and made us feel so excited about it all! She was very helpful throughout the experience - always there via email for any last minute changes/questions that I had. Every single thing that lizzy made for us was out of this world. My beautiful flower crown - which I never wanted to take off. My stunning bouquet - which was even better than I had ever imagined - I didn’t put it down all day as I was so in love with it! The buttonholes were just what we had envisioned. The bridesmaid flowers were so beautiful and the table centrepiece she made for us was exquisite! Lizzy.... where do I start?
I cannot put into words how unbelievably talented you are and how amazing our flowers looked on the day!
I came to you with a vision, a Harry Potter vision... the red, green, blue and yellow to represent the house colours and my god you created something magical for us! I mean I even cried when I saw you in the morning at a buttonhole for goodness sake � ....that detailing with a little scroll from a HP book I gave you was incredible!
The candelabras, buttonholes, bannister, fireplace & register table arrangements along with mine and bridesmaids bouquets were out of this world.. especially the candelabras, I cannot get over those and neither can our guests! We had no end of comments and I cannot express my love for your flower arranging enough and I am so so happy you accepted the challenge of my HP theme!!

We didn’t know much about flowers, I very typically took some Pinterest photos to her of things we wished for, she delivered these and more within our budget without any fuss. Lizzy did the flowers for our wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns in May, and we're so glad we booked her!
We don't know too much about flowers so were really looking for advice from our florist on the best options, and this was what set Lizzy apart from others that we looked at - she listened to what we liked, our style and what sort of wedding we were having and came up with some incredible ideas on both the flowers themselves but also how to present them to tie in with our travel theme - flowers coming out of vintage suitcases!
When we arrived at the venue on the morning of the wedding we were blown away by how good the flowers looked, and how they had taken an amazing venue to a new level.
Lizzy wasn't the cheapest option that we looked at but she came up with some great suggestions to keep the costs down, and overall the quality of the flowers combined with the advice that she gave us absolutely made her value for money. I'd highly recommend her to anyone getting married soon.

From start to finish working with Lizzy was an absolute dream. She was accommodating and friendly from the very beginning, agreeing to create my bouquet even though she had another wedding booked for the same day. I knew from the start I wanted something big and natural and after showing her some pictures with initial ideas I knew she could picture exactly what I wanted. Lizzy did all the flowers at our wedding, from the button holes, to the bouquet, to a big moss ‘G & G’ decoration. Our wedding was in October, but even though it was out of the prime ‘flower season’, we had a huge selection of vibrant, bright flowers - even my favourite, sunflowers!
