I’ve had the pleasure of being affiliated with this clinic for many years. I worked there back in 2007 when it was owned by Dr. Francis Pacheco. Whatever reviews exist from her era are no longer applicable as she sold it nearly 2 years ago. Under new management, this practice is now the best of what it used to be and an improvement to what it was lacking.The Family Stress Clinic continues to be a place where people get their out-patient mental health needs met. New owner and supervising psychologist, Dr. Earl Ruhnke Jr brings a wealth of experience to the forefront as he seemlessly supervises students and runs this practice that offers a wide variety of mental health services including psychological testing and covers individuals ranging from childhood through elderly. They accept a wide range of insurances and offer flexible scheduling - daytime, evenings and weekends.Located in northern Libertyville, minutes west of I-94 and away from downtown traffic, The Family Stress Clinic becomes an option for people in all directions. Reviews are personal opinions based upon experience. And although I have not been a client of this practice, as a licensed clinical mental health professional in Lake County, I have a sent much business there since Dr. Ruhnke took over.
