Mike & his team did an excellent job for my Dads wake. The Hog was the best I've ever tasted, it was local, free range, and you could taste it in the quality of the meat. We had over 130 people at the party and there was more than enough for everyone (even for seconds). The staff were excellent and they wrapped up the leftovers for us so it was easy for us to manage the next day. Because of the nature of funerals, the wake had to be organised within a week, and Mike managed everything with skill, complete calm and patience. Nothing was too difficult or tricky to manage, everything went incredibly smoothly. Mike even introduced us to a brilliant marquee supplier (Sovereign Marquees) and between them they created an event to remember. So glad someone recommended Mike, The English Hog Roast Company. Thank you Mike for providing such amazing High Quality BBQ Wedding Food for our Saturday 25th August 2018 Wedding Day Reception. The menus you provided and the suggestions given were a godsend, it all work amazing well. The different varieties of meat in some amazing marinades, hand cut chips were liked by everyone at our Wedding plus the staff at the venue absolutely loved it. There was none left in the end! We used the English Hog Roast Company for my wife's milestone birthday party. Arrangements upfront with Mike were very clear and concise with the service being tailored to our requirements. At no time did i feel pressured. On the day Annabel and Glenn showed up on time - and were both professional and friendly. The food that was served was excellent - and most guests commented on how good it was whilst returning for more.I would happily recommend - and use again when we don't want to be responsible for washing up. Had a hog roast for my husband's birthday. Served it on platters with guests seated at a long table with sauces and stuffing. - delicious, plentiful and very well received. The company did everything requested and timetable was spot on. All carved and overseen by chef whose name I think was Neil. Absolutely perfect! My Husband David was recommended Mike at the English Hog Roast Company to cater for our wedding in September. Mike and his team cooked a tasty full pork roast dinner for mains and canapes to start.. The guests all commented how wonderful the food was and in particular the hog roast. Mike is really lovely as well - his really nice to have around and made our day perfect! My husband and i thought very highly of Mike and his team - very professional in every respect.. We hired Mike at the English Hog Roast Company for our wedding in September. The food was spectacular - canapes - followed by a roast pork dinner and then a bacon/sausage roll buffet for late evening. The hog roast in particular was really tasty and made great food theater for the guests... I dont usually write reviews like this unless the service was exceptional and in this case it was! We used The English Hog Roast Company last Sunday for my sons christening and it was AMAZING! It was all set up and ready to eat when we got to the venue which meant less stress for us. Mike was so polite and helpful and even bought some of the food inside to the buffet area for our guests. The service was very professional but also relaxed which was great. Mike wrapped up the left over hog for us and suggested some things we could make with it. We will definitely be using them again in the future.
