I've (and a few of my family members) have used The Computer Repair centre on a few occasions and have found them to be knowledgeable and helpful in all areas. Really great place. My boyfriend accidentally dropped my phone and I was dreading taking it to the Apple store. Replying to Miss Shearer: I am the owner of the Repair shop and I can tell you this is NOT what happened at all. What actually happened is the phone was brought in by this young Lady's Father. I booked in the phone assuming it was an iPhone 6 told him it would be £59.00. After Mr shearer left the shop I realised right away it was an iPhone 7 so I did not want to continue the repair without making sure it was agreeable with him. In the mean time I did take a brief look only to discover that the TOUCH ID did not seem to work. I activated the Virtual Touch button so the iPhone would work normally and when her father came back in, I explained what had happened. Mr Shearer took the phone home to tell her daughter that the revised quote for repair was £99.00 and the TOUCH ID was not working. Miss Shearer then called the shop and spoke to my collegue very rudely. Despite this I called Mr Sheaer back and have offered to look once again at the TOUCH ID to see if we could get it working. Since this happened this rather rude and unfair review has been left by her. I would even be prepared to pay for the APPLE repairs if we HAD damaged the phone. We are honest at this shop and are not business of ripping anyone off.I am sorry that this has happened without even a chance for us to rectify this problem. So pleased with the service from Howard, broken glass on the camera on my Motorola G5, was not sure if it could be repaired but he came up trumps and once he had the new part repaired it in super quick time. Popped in to get a quote to replace the charging port on my iPhone 6. The gentlemen suggested it may only need a clean, and so cleaned it out for me there and then and didn't charge me. My iPhone now charges absolutely fine and they saved me around £50! So impressed with their honest nature that I would go to them again for any issues with my iPhone or MacBook and for anybody else who needs IT repairs done. More...
