The Bright Click was formed by Managing Director Matt Davis in April 2012, following the incorporation of his previous business Matt Davis Media.

Based originally in Sunbury-On-Thames, and then in Twickenham, we have been settled in our Teddington office since June 2014, and are currently a team of six full-time staff and four freelancers.

The digital marketing arena is a crowded one – there are lots of agencies doing what we do and no doubt doing it well.

But we like to think we are different.

We start with an end goal and work backwards – what is the aim of your campaign? What do you need your website to achieve for your business?

We don’t just ‘tick boxes’ – we ask you about your business objectives and we work towards you achieving them through the use of advanced digital marketing techniques.

We join the dots.

We look at what your business is doing ‘offline’ and we see what we can do to bring that online and to maximise the impact of your marketing campaigns.

WWW – it’s the World Wide Web – but local is where it’s at. Your potential customers are using smart phones and tablets to try and find businesses just like yours – we make sure they can find you.

We specialise in digital marketing for the Automotive and Property industries but we also have expertise in a number of other sectors and our specialist team are adept at learning about your business and applying our best practise techniques to the very best effect.

Matt is very knowledgable about digital marketing. He demystified social media marketing techniques to us and explained them in clear and effective ways. Our Facebook boosts and ads have definitely improved since then. I'm also grateful to Matt for teaching me how to fine-tune our keywords by doing research on google's keywords planner - this was a real eye-opener. So thanks a lot Matt and the rest of the Bright Click.

I first met matt a few years ago and have worked with him on my web page etc . I found him to be firstly very up front, explained things in my terms not jargon that means nothing to most of us.
He adapted my original site which to be honest was ok but produced no leads or traffic, this has changed.
For a fantastic experience which in my case was hassle free look no further than the bright click.

What makes a great website?

Most web designers are focused on great-looking websites and little else. As a marketing agency, we're thinking about the objective of the website from Day One. Does it need to generate customers? Collect leads? Or is it simply a 'brochure' style site detailing the services that you offer. Simply - a GREAT website should look good but should meet the objectives of the client as well as the end user. And most importantly it should work just as well on a smartphone and tablet as it does on a desktop.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

What outcomes would you like to achieve from the website? Sales? Enquiries? Leads?
Do you have images of your business that we can use? (we prefer to use authentic images rather than stock images)
We like our clients to think about WHY their customers want to use them, rather than WHAT they do - it helps to tailor the site to the end user's requirements, and helps the user to find what they're looking for more easily.

What do you love most about your job?

Getting results for our clients - there's nothing more satisfying that knowing that you did everything right, you joined all the dots, you used your experience and know-how - and then you press the 'go' button, sit back and watch the enquiries coming in and generating a return-on-investment. We like making a difference. We get a lot of business from clients who are disenchanted with their current agency. We never want to be that agency. We have lost very few clients over the last five years and we're proud of this.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was working in the city and had a newborn son, and due to travel times, meetings and hold-ups, I went a whole five days without seeing him when he was awake, which upset me. I was complaining to my mum whilst walking home from the station in the rain, and completely forgot that she'd been in hospital that day receiving her sixth lot of chemotherapy - but she wasn't complaining and I was. I realised I had matters in my own hands, and the chance to create a life for myself where not only could I spend more quality time with my son, but also create a better future for him too. I honestly never looked back from that day - a total life-changer for me.
