It was recommended by my daughter and son in law. Cool place. I liked the retro decor, especially the tables. I ordered an omelet that I liked. My daughter ordered a Brambler bowl that she said was disappointing. I ate a bit of hers (potatoes only) that I thought were good. Both my son in law and my other daughter liked theirs. I just had my first experience at Bramble & the food was AMAZING. I got the spicy chicken mac & cheese, then our table ended the meal with cronuts (croissant donuts drizzled in chocolate, vanilla creme, &/or carmel). And oh my gosh, was it all delicious!!! A tad pricey on some items, but well worth the money if you get the right thing. For the most part, Portions are good size and very filling! The environment, in my opinion, is quite relaxing; it's not overly loud in there, tables aren't squished together, not too much "decor" all over the walls and such but they have a few things fitting with the feel they're going for, the bar is cool, and overall the place has a welcoming, almost "homey" feel to it. I love places that make you feel like a part of an experience, rather than accidentally inviting yourself to dinner at someone else's home lol (....except it's a restaurant....where you go to get food, hmm...anyway....)Overall, as a "picky eater", I give this place a deserving 4 out of 5. I tried something new the 2nd time I went and was not disappointed! It was the Traditional Georgian Breakfast that I can't remember the name of but starts with an "Hk" but the "H" is silent....could also be reversed 《Kh》. Though nothing too crazy - basically an odd breakfast pizza of sorts with runny eggs 《yummy!》 fondue cheese, and (added) sausage - I was pleasantly impressed, and FULL just under halfway through. Hooray for making 1 meal stretch for 2! That and the atmosphere, makes this almost slightly pricey spot well worth the pricetag, and the wait if you catch them during peak times. We had brunch here, it was great!! I had the Monte Cristo Benedict oh, it was so unusual and tasted great with a combination of orange marmalade, cured ham, French toast topped with sunny side up eggs and hollandaise sauce. Delicious food! Often busy during brunch hours, so plan ahead. We like to go reserve a table, then run over to Cirque Coffee across the street and wait for them to text us that our table is ready.
