I normally don’t write reviews but I am since I was almost convinced not to go to Bubbles Columbia. I did a last minute appt since I would happen to be in the area- I had never been to this salon before. Erica was AMAZING. I was going from a bob to a pixie (something I’ve done plenty of time before almost every other time a different salon/stylist for many reasons) . Erica listened to all my concerns and answered my questions. She cut my pixie step by step to ensure I was satisfied with my length/look. Our wedding would not have been the same without The Big Whit Events Company. From the initial consultation, the visit to the venue to size up our requirements and ideas, the input and suggestions, the swift responses, and then of course the actual event itself! These guys went above and beyond, and transformed our ideas into something spectacular. Their support throughout the whole process was brilliant. Let me say... I am so impressed and happy and so thankful. I had my Intial appt with Dor, sweet guy. Unfortunately due to my thick curly hair and the timing I had to be passed on to someone else. Let me make it clear this is not on the stylist, it's on the schedule system. Dor still made sure I was okay, he wanted to make sure I would leave happy with my hair. I ended up finishing with Crystal and the receptionist who is also a stylist. They were great. So friendly and did a great job. Crystal was also mindful about the fact that I wear my hair naturally curly and took that into consideration when trimming. I LOVED that. She was awesome and I booked my next appt with her. Crystal at Bubbles is so fantastic! I never had a regular hairdresser until I met her, but now she's the only one who I would let do my hair. She gave me beautiful purple highlights that are subtle enough for my corporate day job but still make me feel like my funky younger self. Love them and love her!! More...

It was my first time here. I've been growing out my over processed hair for a very long time and this time was my last inch to cut off all processed hair so I was excited. I was greeted when I walked in and she was also very nice on the phone when I made an appointment. My stylist was Norma, now my only issue with her was she didn't smile much or talk much in the beginning which is the best time to do that at a salon. You should always make your clients feel comfortable as soon as you see them. She didn't introduce herself at all and didn't say good bye neither. But when I sat at her station, after giving me my cut she was saying how beautiful my hair was and I said thank you and that's about all we said to each other. My cut is nice and the scalp massage she gave me was amazing. Some clients love conversation and some don't so she would fit perfect with clients who don't like conversation lol because me, I need some girl talk when I get my hair done okay. Literally just left this salon and guaranteed will never come back. I understand this time of year it’s busy, but when checking in they weren’t very welcoming in the slightest. The stylist (Norma) I had was not friendly, didn’t smile and had zero personality. This was my first time here and as soon as I got back to her station, she told me to go back to the shampoo area, again, I have never been here before and she made no direction of where that area was. At that point I should have left. It took her all of 30 seconds to cut my hair and she didn’t even do a good job. I’m not knocking the entire establishment but this one stylist should probably find something fitting for her personality that doesn’t require interacting with humans. More...

My Husband and I were married on 13.10.2018 at the Hawthorns in Blackrod. To say we were blown away by the whole venue styling David,Rebekkah and team did for us would not be enough. They made our dream an absolute vision. Every tiny detail from fresh cut flowers hanging from the ceiling to our names projected on the dance floor, nothing went uncomplimented the whole dressing was absolutely stunning. I recently requested the team's services over two days for mine and my wife's wedding. On the Friday, they setup a backdrop for a traditional Indian ceremony, and then on the Saturday morning, (the day of the wedding), we had the guys set up a mandap for the Indian wedding. In the evening, they repositioned the backdrop (from Friday) for the reception and provided chair covers for the reception. EVERYTHING went smoothly. The mandap was set up on the Saturday morning ready to go for the time requested - only we were late! I made some requests that they had no issues with! In the build up there was constant contact with the guys via e-mail and phone. Excellent service from the guys!! MANY, MANY thanks from Pri and myself for helping the day go as smoothly as possible!! We got married at the Oak Royal in Withnell on Sunday 6th August this year and we used big white events for the whole day. They dressed the room for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and then did a third turn around for the evening reception we even used their DJ (Dave) who was brilliant !! The venue was beautiful from start to finish BWE were fast, extremely friendly and even managed to lend a hand to the venue staff !! We can't rate them high enough they went above and beyond to source colours to match and made sure we were 100% happy. I contacted Big White Events Company because I was looking for something quite specific. Most companies out there have a variety of white backdrops but only seem to go to 3 meters and the space I needed covering was 4 meters. Perfect from start to finish...I had my wedding 2 months ago and we ordered the twinkle Dancefloor, uplights, LOVE letters and LED poseur. The staff are so helpful and friendly and we were made up with the products. It was lovely to see the room all lit up in the evening.
