That Hungry Chef

I found That Hungry Chef though Grub Club. I have now visited Pratap and Nikhat 3 times and each experience has been excellent. The setting, their home, is beautiful and the table a perfect size for conversation between a large group. The food is always sublime and the special end of meal gift is also a nice way to end a lovely evening.

I hope to visit them many times more and will definitely be remembering them for any private catering events I may have in the future. More...

Just Wow!!!
I don't usually buy curry pastes as I love to make my own but after tasting the chicken tikka paste from That Hungry Chef I managed to eat a whole jar in a day and ended up getting another four after that! !!
They are simply delicious and I can't wait to have my Goan spiced pulled pork with a steamy jacket potato.

Bought a couple of jars of his potted deliciousness at the Sion Foodies Festival - they are amazing! Make a wonderful sandwhich and that's only the first thing I've thought of to do with them! The flavour is incredible. Cannot recommend highly enough and believe me I do not usually buy 'cheating' things like this but .... this is different. Fantastic spice blends. More...

I highly recommend That Hungry Chef, not only is the food original, creative and utterly delicious but Pratap & Nikhat are incredibly warm, inviting and attentive hosts. They make you feel as though you've known them forever, which is a very special quality. They hosted a Midsummer Nights Dream supper club for my hen party and I cannot thank them enough. I was in charge of creating a sophisticated hen for a very close friend of mine and I was desperate to find something unusual, intimate and very special. My goodness did That Hungry Chef deliver! I knew that Pratap did themed dinners and asked if he could create a Midsummer Nights Dream one. Pratap then scoured the play for inspiration and created the most magnificent meal based on the scents and flavours mentioned in the text.The food was spectacular, and the setting matched it. Their garden was filled with candles and we all felt that we had been transported out of London, into somewhere truly magical. That Hungry Chef provided the catering for our wedding on Saturday (16 June 2018), as well as overseeing the venue set up and event management on the day. My third dinner at That Hungry Chef was "Alice in Wonderland" and it was brilliant! There was a five star food, a closed-eyes fragrance experience, a hilarious moment with balloons, a white (almost Cheshire) cat, and the warmest atmosphere which created friends out of strangers somewhere between the drink-me aperitif and the Mad hatter pudding. I would and will do it again!

Innovative food and lovely venue - organised my friend's hen do here, Pratap was very accommodating to all our needs and very helpful to making the event our success. Fabulous experience! We've done a couple of supper clubs there now - including the outstanding Maharaja Christmas dinner. We had our school mums night out dinner there last night too - which was a great hit . Pratap catered an amazing meal for 30 people for my birthday dinner. We had a Punjabi-style curry which was completely delicious - people still talk about it when I see them.

HUGE thanks to you and your wife for such an amazing evening! We could not have wished for a more perfect host, venue, meal, and you even managed to sort the weather for us! We were all bowled over by your beautiful home and garden, warm hospitality and absolutely beautiful meal.
