My new wife and I gorged on left over meat the day after wedding he catered. We felt like lions after a kill; warm, greasy, satisfied, ready for a long nap, comfy knowing everyone was well fed.

As I told the man, these people are the genuine article. They are what they are, a simple Southern place; nothing fancy, just barbeque. Don't expect Famous Dave's. Do expect delicious ribs. (Kentucky/Carolina/Virgina - not sweet like the Georgia stuff, not tomatoey Texas stuff). Also sauces.
Late one night I was walking past (at like 11pm) and smelled the smoker going. That was when I knew I had to try it.
The operation is basically one man and his smoker. He cares deeply about it, from what I can tell. (He mentioned bonzeroffic's review and was clearly upset by it.) There wasn't much help but she was at least trying.
So they aren't fancy, but they're genuine. And that's hard to find. More...
