We manage the WordPress core updates and update the plugins and theme which run your website. This is necessary to keep your site running properly. It is also a critical factor to keep your website safe from hackers.

This is about making your WordPress Website fast to load so your visitors don't leave before they see your information.
There is a lot of techie stuff described below and we apologise. Sometimes, there just isn't any way around it but if we are face to face with you we can show you what we do to help you understand if that's what you want. Alternatively, you can just leave us to do it.
Page Caching
Caching creates and really speedy load time which is something the search engines love, which means it can help your SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and also to increase conversions.
Cache Preloading
We add in a crawler which stimulates a visit to preload the cache, which means the indexing of your websites by the search engines is improved.
SiteMap Preloading
By implementing a preload of the URL's in your XML Sitemap (which we will generate if you don't have one already) we can ensure that your site's cache is always warm. This also integrates automatic detection of the SEO plugin we will install for you which is (Yoast SEO).
GZIP Compression
This helps the work of the browser (GZIP Compression, expires, headers, etage) to optimise the rendering or web browsers and also to save bandwidth.
Browser Caching
Static contents (JavaScript, CSS, images) are stored in the browser. This means that the static content does not need to be loaded again when a website visitor goes to another page on your website and this makes it a faster and slicker user experience.
Database Optimisation

Remove Query Strings From Static Resources
By removing the query strings from the CSS/JS files, cache busting is retained by encoding the version number into the URL. Again it's all about speed and performance.

This is about preventing hacks, security breaches and malware infections!
WordPress Brute Force Protection
Limit the number of failed login attempts allowed per user with WordPress brute force protection. If someone is trying to guess your password, they'll get locked out after a few attempts.
File Change Detection
If someone manages to get into your site, they'll probably add, remove or change a file. Get email alerts showing any recent file changes so you know if you've been hacked.
404 Detection
If a bot is scanning your site for vulnerabilities, it will generate a lot of 404 errors. iThemes Security will lock out that IP after the limit you set (20 errors in 5 minutes by default).
Strong Password Enforcement
Set which level of users on your site (admins, editors, users, etc.) need to have strong passwords. Strong password enforcement is one of the best ways to lock down WordPress.
Lock Out Bad Users
Keep bad users away from your site if they have too many failed login attempts, if they generate too many 404 errors, or if they're on a bot blacklist.
