What inspired you to start your own business?
Like so many parents, we were thrust into having to provide home-schooling despite not being teachers. It was something that we struggled with and felt that we were not using the best teaching methods to keep our child motivated to learn. We were aware that many teachers and tutors were unable to work during the first lockdown, so we set about creating a platform that allows teachers to teach and children to learn using today's technology. After a couple of weeks of hard work building our system, www.teachingathome.co.uk started. ?
Why should our clients choose you?
All of the lessons are provided by experienced and qualified teachers and tutors, the same as you find in any school. We have a mixed team who can cover all of the leading UK curriculum subjects like English (literature & language), Maths, Science, History, French, Geography.

All of our classes are remote. We do not offer in-house services.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As all of our lessons are via remote meeting solutions such as Zoom, we automatically provide total social distancing.
Even if you are self-isolating or shielding, we can keep your education going over the internet!

We offer supplementary lessons of the core subjects of Maths and English (Phonics for the younger ones) for Primary and Secondary school-aged children. Classes are held online on a 1-on-1 basis. The option for a small group is also possible.
