I had TB Moving move my furniture and boxes from NJ to a 1BR in NYC. I worked with Peter in the office to get the quote, and he was very responsive to my inquiry and accomodating of my updating my moving inventory. He helped me schedule the move for a day that worked for me, and TB's flat rate quote was competitive. The day of the move, the crew (Samuel, Alex, and Vadim) were punctual, efficient, and professional. Alex and his awesome crew showed up early this past Friday and were excellent, very careful with our furniture, wrapped everything nicely, and got me moved upstate in a short time with no damage or drama. I’m sorry I waited a couple weeks to write this, I’ve been so busy. However I would like to say that TB Moving is by far the BEST I’ve ever encountered! !! Whenever I move again I will most definitely give you guys a call. The crew that picked me up were so easy to work with and helpful as well. This is the absolutely first time I had a moving experience and did not feel like I was being hoodwinked, or robbed. That in itself was huge to me! What I mean is they quoted the price and it wound up being what they quoted. Absolutely every company I used would jack up the price once they arrived. I’m talking hundreds of dollars more than what I was quoted. Secondly, they were some of the nicest guys I worked with. Starting with my initial encounter, I spoke with Peter, the guy that set up and managed my move. Eugene, Sergey, and Oleg are the names of the crew members that was dispatched to my move. I felt like I could hang out with these guys and have a good time. Matter of fact we DID have a good time even during the move! This is the second time I have used this company and both times everything went extremely smooth. Nothing was broken or damaged and given the amount of furniture and boxes I had I would say that's pretty remarkable. There prices are by far better than any other moving company that I contacted, they charge a flat rate fee which is fantastic because no matter how long it takes them the price stays the same. Our team of 3 movers arrived right on time and were professional and kind from the start. They did a walk-through of our inventory and then told us how they'd proceed - load boxes first, wrap the furniture and then load furniture. They took great care with our belongings - even notifying us of a spill inside a box so we could fix it. They arrived to our moving location in a timely fashion and got right to work unloading. They asked where to put everything and unloaded to the correct rooms. They consistently asked our feedback and to make sure we were happy with their work.
