Shaun has had a huge impact on my health, fitness and diet. I first arrived 3 stone heavier with a poor diet and zero fitness. Through his encouragement and coaching I have lost a huge amount of weight, toned my body and lifted my fitness level to a point I could not have imagined possible. I made some great progress with my summer program. Having a well structured workout schedule that made sure my recovery post season, and my prep pre season helped me hit the ground running when September came! Shaun was extremely helpful throughout the process making sure my plan was flexible, taking into account injuries and other commitments. I think the most important thing to start with is how much Shaun has educated me in fitness, nutrition & healthy living. I came to him just wanting to tone up & gain a bit muscle really- I really wanted to feel more confident in my own skin. I started working with Shaun at the end of October 2017 & had at least two PT sessions consistently a week until late March 2018. It didn’t take long to see incredible results and within a month I already felt healthier, stronger & so happy with my physical progress. The changes I could see spoke for themselves but the longterm benefits I’ve experienced are endless. If you’re considering PT then this is the guy you want and need to be working with. I say ‘working with’ because it’s all about working together, it’s a journey & not someone simply barking orders at you while you work out. For me, it was about re-educating myself on healthy nutrition, how to fuel my body properly & doing more than I ever thought I was physically capable of. I trained with Shaun for about over a year and as much as I hated the 6am starts it was one of the best decisions I made. Shaun not only helped me train but helped me with my nutrition and adapting it all into my everyday life . He taught me that it's not about quick fixes but a life style change as a whole. My fitness improved vastly over the time I was trained by Shaun, just wish I could have continued it for longer! As I got closer to the end of yet another decade, I finally decided to get fit and lose weight. Being somewhat gym phobic, PT seemed to be the way to go. So I started working with Shaun with the intention of losing weight, getting fitter and generally having more energy. I have achieved all of that, but so much more mentally I didn't expect. Thommo was great over the summer, really helped me take my game to the next level. Really showed me how hockey specific workouts and the right amount of rest as well as a healthy diet can make that much of a difference compared to just lifting weights and getting massive all summer. I'm now the lightest I've been in about 6 years and also the strongest I've ever been. Right now is the best I've ever felt on the ice and hope to keep up with Thommo to keep up the progression. He's always full of tips and always available if you need help with anyone. Was even able to work around my injury without halting progress through taking his advice. I have spent my off season using a workout plan from Shaun. I can't be happier with it. From day 1 it was customised to my needs and goals for my summer workout to be as beneficial and useful as possible. I gave Shaun my goals and we talked about my ambitions for both the summer and my upcoming season and I was sent a workout plan each month which would constantly help me progress throughout the summer.
