I booked Tashady's services for our wedding. I was very impressed with the service provided. There was opportunity to discuss the menu and budget, numbers of guests etc. Each step of the way including the day itself, Tashady updated and planned the day and looked after our every need. Our guests where impressed with the food and the fabulous quality. There was plenty for everyone, even the children ( who believe me are fussy eaters). I would definitely use the service again. She catered for my cousins wedding, we had high expectations but we were let down horrifically. She did not make enough food for the quantity of guests required (and we overestimated by 100 heads). The food ran out before about half of the guests could get a plate. The hourderves were minimal leaving a lot guests hungry further adding salt to the wound of there not being enough food. Additionally, some of the food was served an hour before the wedding was ending???? After such a incompetent service they have refused to take accountability for the poor service provided. Attended my friends wedding where this lady catered for the food. Firstly her attitude was appalling. They way she spoke to people and was behaving was just not called for. Secondly, she did not meet the expectations she had agreed with the bride and groom. Food was late being served. Food run out immediately. A lot of guest didn’t even get to eat , including myself. For the bride and groom to have to now go through this and hear this from guests and people tell them they hadn’t even eating at their wedding due to lack of food and also due to the inability of this caterer to meet the expectations she had agreed on is absolutely appalling and greatly unfair. She was fully paid and agreed to provide a service, but yet didn’t play her part of the agreement. I hired this caterer TASHADY for my daughter's wedding held on 1st September 2022. Her performance was very disappointing. Tashady seems a difficult person to deal with and lacks respect for other people. This caterer doesn't care about how other people feel. Her unprofessional attitudes started immediately we agreed on the contract and paid the agreed money in full to her account. Tashady lacks coordination and good management. Despite claiming to have visited the Venu's kitchen prior to the wedding day as confirmed by email that all necessary arrangements are in place she still brought wrong cooking pots hence cooking was delayed. To resolve the issues the hotel requested £200 to hire their own cooking pots and she refused to pay.To save the situation, the Bride's younger sister and her friends paid on her behalf to safe the day. Tashady behaved in an unprofessional ways with loads of attitudes. She started showing this immediately we signed the contract. She refused to meet most of the promises she made earlier before contract was signed. She collected money to feed 400 guests and there were little to show for this. There were not enough food to go round the guests. Many of our guests didn't eat due to shortage of foods despite the fact we paid full amount of money on request, six months before the wedding. I have been asked to give a review of your service at a wedding I attended and I have the following to say: 1. You need to work on your organizational skill because everything was quite disorganised on the wedding day. The serving of food was delayed and the process of serving very distasteful. 2. You need to work on being accountable and know and prepare for the number of guests attending your event before dashing out. I observed you ran out of food and plates at a point in the reception, with very few people to serve guests. Also, there were no enough drinks. 3. It appeared you didn't have available all the listed food in your menu. Please, try and ensure you only list what you have provision for in menu list. Extremely poor customer service! Avoid at all cost if you do not want to be disappointed on your special day. This caterer was completely unprofessional and almost ruined my friends wedding when she brought the wrong pots to the wedding and then refused to pay to hire the venue’s pots. This was entirely her mistake as she had visited the venue before and had known what pots to bring. This led to the bride’s friends and sisters having to pay for her incompetence in order to save the day. Her incompetence did not end there as she did not provide adequate number of food she was paid for. Guests were hungry and some had to go out and buy food or just left after waiting hours. The bride and groom were hungry and when her bridesmaids requested to bring them food they were turned away. I’ve never come across such incompetence and lack of organisation! I attended a close family friends wedding and the caterer TASHADY did such a terrible job catering the event. There wasn’t enough food for the guest and the food itself was disgusting, no flavour at all, even grass would taste better. The meat she provided, if you can even call it meat was just bone. My own mum had to run around trying to help cater the event as well as the brides family when they are suppose to relax and enjoy the event. The women herself is a wicked witch as she did not even provide the correct pot and then demanded them to pay more for a new pot. Wedding 1st September The food did not match the menu provided, food ran out , the staff were not providing fair portions , the food took ages before served , the staff were not friendly Staff from Tashady threatening to leave if people intervened when they were only trying to help . They did not come with the correct pots to cook the food and refused to pay the venue to use their pots so braidsmaids had to pay £200 for the pots and the caterers refused to refund the cost of the pots or deduct it from the total catering charge . Went to a wedding at the beginning of September. What can I say worst food ever , not enough to go round for 400 people, bride and groom where left waiting for ages to be fed , and the customer service was shocking , no organisation what so ever , small portions , missing food and pots , not what you need on your special day, both families disappointed. Where do I even start! Poor customer service, organisation was just a disaster ! We hired this caterer for my sisters wedding, it all looked positive at the food tasting, however leading up to the event there was always issues arising which she did not disclose on her contract. We paid money to make up for most of her complains which we shouldn’t have had to, as you can imagine a wedding is stressful enough without having to constantly have to deal with additional issues which should have nothing to do with us. On the wedding day she showed up to the venue with the WRONG POTS! Which meant there would be NO FOOD at the wedding !!! You can imagine the stress and drama. The event planner managed to convince the hotel at the venue to allow us to borrow their pots. After several deliberations they kindly agreed to let us borrow their pots which they usually wouldn’t but with a fee of £200! This caterer refused to pay !!! Even though it was her fault she arrived with the wrong pots and she should have communicated with the venue prior to arrival. Thankfully the braids maid paid the £200 as we couldn’t have a wedding without food! When the food was served there wasn’t enough! Fried rice ran out after a few mins. Later on we were served white rice, ayamashe has no meat or egg and soggy beans. As maid of honour I didn’t even eat. The attitude used to serve the food was just poor no positive vibe, felt like you were begging for food . They did not serve the bride and groom on time and I had to have serval fights and arguments before they fed the couple. We were told that the ‘chef’ was preparing it and it took an hour before we saw any food for the couple. Honestly wouldn’t recommend using this service! Expect if you want disappointments. Even 1 star is generous. She catered at my brothers wedding and I have never seen such a poor effort in real life. The jollof rice was basically plain rice with food coloring. I’ve never tasted such bland food at a wedding before. Although, I should have considered myself lucky as I was one of the few people that managed to even get food. A large proportion of guest went home hungry and upset as the food ran out almost immediately. For the extortionate prices she charges, she should be embarrassed about what she provided. Absolute Dissapointment! This lady was hired for my brothers wedding and we had very high expectations however everything was a disappointment! From the poor customer service to the food not being enough and being totally tasteless. The jellof rice was full of food coloring, people were given food without meat or chicken and some people didn't even eat at all. The whole presentation of the food was disgusting. It was way below expectation for any event never mind for a wedding of that calibre. Considering the amount of money this lady charged for this service it felt like a huge scam. Unfortunately, it was the worst food and service I had at a wedding. As a wedding guest, I had so much expectations for an event of this magnitude. you’d appreciate my disappointment when I heard how much the caterer charged for the food because it wasn’t worth it at all. The food almost ran out immediately not because it was delicious but because she scammed them. I counted how many people had pepper soup and I can assure you that it was less than 10 people. I am writing this review base on what I experienced at a wedding where you were hired as a caterer recently. Firstly, food serving was delayed which led to disorganization, Secondly, the food was inadequate and the customer service was very poor. It was a big wedding, but the poor catering service mask the beauty of the gathering.
